I'm looking for the name of a foreign movie that was broadcast on Channel 6 many years ago.

French movie Waiting for You to Say You Love Me

Stephane is juggling a lot of girlfriends, and at 4 a.m., after losing a lot of money at a casino, one of his girlfriends, who has just broken up with him, picks up a shoe on the staircase of his apartment, and a 12- or 13-year-old girl comes out and says that the shoe belongs to her, that she's out with her classmates, and that she's missed the train home

. Stefan took the girl back to his apartment and put her to sleep in his workshop, where he had unfinished paintings and exotic jewelry and decorations. The next morning, Stefan wakes up to the sound of a piano, and Eve, the girl who stayed over, is playing Chopin, and she has made him hot chocolate, which Stefan raves about, and he reminds Eve to call home and presses the redial button, and then realizes that Eve's question-and-answer session with the neighbor was a fabrication, and that Eve has already

escaped.

Stefan is a pediatrician who always brings his little patients a bunch of good snacks. His father, who is the director of the hospital, complains to his son that his wife won't accompany him to seminars out of town and is quite concerned about his son's messy personal life.

Stephane's best friend admires his kills at polo and points out his 138th goal to Stefan, who makes a witty remark and declines. Stefan then made a bet with a friend that he could get the girl for dinner by the end of the week. Stefan calls the girl and she agrees to meet him.

Eva went to see Stefan again, who thought she was a runaway and took her to the police station. The girl says that the bruises on her legs were inflicted by her stepmother. Eve begs Stefan to take her to the beach, but Stefan says no, but lies on the sand, calling his target girl and watching Eve play in the water.

In the evening, Stefan goes out with the girl and tells her the story of Eve's misfortune at the dinner table. The girl laughs and tells Stefan that it is a fairy tale about Cinderella. Stefan realizes that he has been deceived and immediately calls home, but Eve does not answer the phone. Stefan's friends warn him that Eve may have ransacked Stefan's apartment with a group of delinquents. Stefan rushes home with his friend and finds Eve lying asleep in his bed. Stefan opened a beer with his

fingers and told his friend that he wasn't going back to the restaurant, leaving him to take care of the woman who worked at the law firm. He tucked in Eve, who was pretending to be asleep. The next morning, Stefan, sleeping on the couch, is awakened by the sound of the piano and tells Eve to stop playing.

He has just answered a call from the girl for a date, and his mother arrives unannounced with a load of her son's laundry. The mother notices that her son's house has changed, Stefan realizes that Eve has disappeared, so he and the girl drive down to the beach and look for her.

The two of them return to the car to make out, but Eve suddenly emerges from the back seat of the car, accusing Stefan of cheating on her, and rushes out of the car, which Stefan chases down to the beach.

Stefan is at the hospital talking to a colleague when he sees a nurse leading Eve up the elevator. He realizes that Eve has been a patient in her father's hospital; she lost her father at age six, suffered a brain hemangioma four years ago, and has recently

exacerbated her condition. Eve doesn't want the dean to heal her and insists on Stefan, and the female psychiatrist warns Stefan that the more he accommodates Eve, the more trouble he'll be in later. Eve tries to leave the hospital, but is caught back by the nurse.

Early in the morning, Stefan is still shirtless when someone rings the doorbell. Eve's grandfather came in with her in his arms, saying that the girl had been on hunger strike for two days and was in the hospital on fluids to keep her alive. Grandpa said to Stefan that Eve needed to eat,

Without waiting for Stefan to react, the girl had already sat up from the sofa and was enjoying Stefan's breakfast, and Grandpa took out a picture of Eve and Stefan back then, saying that she had been talking about him since she was discharged from the hospital. Undoubtedly Stefan

was just being equal and kind to make his little patient happy, but he didn't remember that Eve had been his patient. Eve's mother insisted that she stay at Stefan's despite the hospital's objections.

In the evening Eve sees Stefan sitting frozen in front of his laptop and massages his tired shoulders and back. Stefan asks her how it feels to instantly lose her memory and what ails her, and points her to a medical paper he's found that deals with her condition, and Eve says Stefan is trying to cure her so he doesn't have to care about her anymore.

Stephane finds a researcher in thrombectomy through his father's lover, who was kicked out of the hospital by his father, but now has a hobby of antique cars and lives off of cosmetic surgery, and says that thrombectomy is only theoretically possible but no one is willing to try it, and there is no precedent for clinical success.

Stefan is nervous when he comes home and sees Eve standing on a ladder cleaning the glass, and Eve asks him if he feels at home.

Stefan attends a party at Eve's house, and Eve's mother hears Stefan ask Eve if she wants to dance. Eve's mother hears Stefan ask Eve if she wants to dance, so she calls a beautiful dancer to perform and invites Stefan to **** dance. Stefan has a great time dancing, but realizes that Eve has disappeared. On an outdoor bench, Stefan finds Eve, who has just lost track of time, and makes her promise to be there the next time this happens.

Stefan and Eve make a large purchase of food, and his friend urges him not to arouse suspicion that he is having an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl. Stefan laughed at his friend for leaving him to become timid and fearful.

The above entry was made on January 5, 2001, which was recorded. I didn't recall the episode later because I was busy. Now I only remember that Stefan forced his way through the limitations and got the man to perform an embolectomy on Eve. The operation was successful. Stefan joins his father's old lover's international medical rescue organization. Years later Stefan sees the beautiful woman who has grown into a woman at Eve's piano recital.
