Nanchong Central Hospital (formerly North Sichuan Hospital and Nanchong District People's Hospital) was founded in 1937 by the people of China and Mr. Zhang Lan, former vice chairman of the Central People's Government, and Mr. Liang Shuming, a professor of Peking University. After more than 70 years of development and growth, it has built a national third-class first-class general hospital integrating medical treatment, first aid, scientific research and teaching, rehabilitation and health care, the first "Clinical Pharmacist Training Base of the Ministry of Health" at the national (city) level, an international baby-friendly hospital, the China manned spacecraft landing system rear branch, the American smile train free repair charity project cooperation designated hospital, and the Wenchuan earthquake wounded rescue hospital, ranking among the 500 large hospitals in China and the top ten hospital window demonstration units in Sichuan Province. It is the second clinical medical college of North Sichuan Medical College, the third military medical university and the teaching hospital of Luzhou Medical College. Nanchong Cancer Center, Nanchong Emergency Center and Nanchong Infectious Disease Hospital are all in our hospital.

A Brief History of China People's Liberation Army No.51 Hospital (Nanchong Wuyi Hospital) This hospital was founded in the Red Army period and belongs to the Red Army. It was led by Wang Chuang Yunlin and arrived in northern Shaanxi from Jinggangshan on 1935. 1937, when the state Council was established, it was changed to the Field Hospital of the Eighth Route Army Headquarters in Hongdong County, Shanxi Province, and participated in the battles of Changle, Hundred Regiments, Zheng Tai Road, and Huanglongdong in guanxian, southeast Shanxi. 1940 was changed to the first branch of Bethune Hospital, located in Zuoquan County, Shanxi Province, to participate in the "anti-mopping-up". 1945 After Japan surrendered, the hospital was changed to the Fourth Division Hospital of Taihang Military Region, the Fifth Field Hospital of Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Military Region in July, and the Fifth Mobile Hospital of North China Military Region in July 1948. 1949 was changed to 18 in May, and the Third Field Hospital of Corps participated in the famous Shanghai Naval Hospital.
During the revolutionary war years, the Institute made great contributions to the liberation of China people and was highly praised by the people.
1949 On the eve of national liberation, the hospital entered Sichuan. 1950 was changed to North Sichuan Military Region Hospital in May, 19531October to 23rd Military Hospital of Southwest Military Region, and 19541October to 56544.
