What is the European ErP Directive, the requirements of the ERP Directive

European Union ErP Directive

In order to enhance the environmental performance of energy-consuming products and control ecological pollution. The European Union formally released the ecological requirements for energy-related products Directive 2009/125/EC on October 31, 2009, which is the ErP (Energy-related Products) Directive, "Directive Establishing a Framework for Eco-design Requirements for Energy-Related Products," which is the first step in the development of the EuPhoria (Energy-using Products) Directive (2005/32), the first step in the implementation of the EuPhoria Directive. ) Directive (2005/32/EC) rewrite of the Directive, on November 10, 2009 came into force.

Directive Implementation Rules

The ErP Directive is not a directive on product requirements, but only a framework directive. The European Union, in accordance with the relevant provisions of this directive, to further develop the directive on certain types of energy-consuming products need to comply with the eco-design requirements, called "Implementing Measures" (Implementing Measures), referred to as the IM. The Implementing Measures that have been enacted and implemented are as follows:
