European Union ErP Directive
In order to enhance the environmental performance of energy-consuming products and control ecological pollution. Directive Implementation Rules
The ErP Directive is not a directive on product requirements, but only a framework directive. The European Union, in accordance with the relevant provisions of this directive, to further develop the directive on certain types of energy-consuming products need to comply with the eco-design requirements, called "Implementing Measures" (Implementing Measures), referred to as the IM. The Implementing Measures that have been enacted and implemented are as follows:
1. Household Office The Eco-design Requirements for Standby Power Consumption of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (No 1275/2008) was issued in December 2008, with an implementation date of January 7, 2010, which is the first time that the Eco-design Requirements have been implemented.
2. Eco-design requirements for simple set-top boxes (No 107/2009) was released in February 2009, with an implementation date of February 25, 2010.
3. The eco-design requirement for non-directional household lamps (No 244/2009) was released in March 2009 with an implementation date of September 1, 2009.
4. Eco-design requirements for fluorescent lamps without integrated ballasts, high-intensity discharge lamps and their ballasts and luminaires (No 245/2009) was released in March 2009 with an implementation date of April 13, 2010.
5. Eco-design Requirements for External Power Supplies (No 278/2009) was released in April 2009 with an implementation date of April 27, 2010.
6. Eco-design Requirements for Electric Motors (No 640/2009) was released in July 2009 with a June 16, 2010 implementation date.
7. Eco-design requirements for stand-alone shaft-less circulators (No 641/2009) was released in August 2009 with an implementation date of January 1, 2010.
8. Eco-design requirements for TVs (No 642/2009) was released in July 2009 with an implementation date of January 7, 2010.
9. Eco-design requirements for domestic refrigeration equipment (No 643/2009) was released in July 2009, with an implementation date of July 1, 2010.
10. Washing machine for domestic use (No 1015/2010) was issued in November 2010 with an implementation date of December 1, 2011.
11. Dishwasher for domestic use (No 1016/2010) Issue date is November 2010, implementation date is December 1, 2011.
12. Clothes dryer for domestic use (No 932/2012) was published in October 2012 with an implementation date of November 1, 2013.
13. Motor-driven fans with input power range between 125 W and 500 KW (No 327/2011) Release date is April 2011, implementation date is April 6, 2011.
14. Eco-design Requirements for Directional Lamps, LED Lamps and Associated Equipment (No 1194/2012) Published in December 2012 with an implementation date of September 1, 2013
