Code of Practice for the Management of Hemodialysis Units in Medical Institutions

Legal analysis: In order to standardize the management of hemodialysis room in medical institutions, improve the level of hemodialysis treatment, effectively prevent and control the medical infections caused by hemodialysis, improve the quality of medical care and ensure medical safety, this specification is formulated in accordance with the Regulations for the Administration of Healthcare Institutions, Measures for the Management of Hospital Infections, Measures for the Management of Clinical Application of Medical Technologies and other relevant laws and regulations. This specification applies to all levels and types of medical institutions that set up hemodialysis rooms.

Legal basis: "Code for the Management of Hemodialysis Units in Medical Institutions" Article 5 The medical institutions that set up hemodialysis units shall, in accordance with these norms, formulate and implement the rules and regulations, technical specifications and operating procedures for the management of hemodialysis units, clarify the duties of the staff, and implement the measures for the prevention and control of the medical infections in the units, so as to ensure that the hemodialysis treatments can be carried out in a safe and effective manner.
