Hard PVC plastic pipes can be used for acid drainage pipes on the ground, while acid-resistant ceramic pipes are more suitable for buried parts. Chemical laboratory and pure water room need floor drain to prevent water pipes from cracking or faucet from leaking, to ensure timely drainage, to prevent the laboratory from being flooded and to ensure the safety of instruments and equipment. The main laboratory should be equipped with independent drainage branch pipes and valves.
For the protection zones of level III and level IV biosafety laboratories, the water seal depth of traps and floor drains should be set according to the pressure difference requirements. When sanitary ware without trap is connected to the drain pipe, a trap must be set below the drain. The water seal of the drainage pipeline must be filled with water or disinfectant. It is necessary to monitor the drainage in the auxiliary working areas of the three-level and four-level biosafety laboratories, and take appropriate treatment measures to ensure that the drainage meets the discharge requirements before being discharged into the municipal pipe network. The drainage of the Shuang Ye autoclave in the level-4 biosafety laboratory should be connected to the wastewater discharge system in the protected area.
