There are more than 60,000 health supervisors and more than 170,000 health supervision coordinators nationwide***. II. Construction of integrated supervision system and supervision and inspection mechanism of laws and regulations

In order to further increase the supervision and inspection of the implementation of health and family planning laws and regulations, effectively perform the duties of integrated supervision, standardize the content and workflow of integrated supervision, and do a good job of coordinating and cooperating with the relevant business divisions and bureaus within the Commission, the Commission has formulated the "Coordination System for Integrated Supervision of the National Health and Family Planning Commission," which ensures that the work of integrated supervision is carried out smoothly. In order to better implement health and family planning laws and regulations, and to promote the supervision and inspection of health and family planning laws and regulations in an orderly manner, in 2014, the Commission issued the Work Plan for the Supervision and Inspection of Important Laws and Regulations on Health and Family Planning (2014-2017). According to the requirements of the plan, during the period from 2014 to 2017, the national health and family planning system will complete the supervision and inspection of the implementation of seven health and family planning laws and 17 administrative regulations.
Three, comprehensive supervision work carried out

Routine supervision of maternal and child health care and family planning technical service institutions has been standardized. Training in family planning supervision was strengthened, and informationization of family planning supervision was steadily advanced. It has organized and participated in the supervision and handling of a number of important family planning cases, such as the fight against the "two illegal practices", and has promoted the implementation of the relevant regulations on family planning and administration in accordance with the law.
--Regulatory work after the abolition and decentralization of permits has been smooth and orderly.
