1. Once on board, you can participate in the activities of your choice at any time. Activities are designed by a multilingual entertainment team, and each evening a television program called "Today" is broadcast to your cabin with a full schedule of daily activities. "Today also provides information on the various cruises and itineraries, so you can stay in touch with Costa even when you're ashore, as it has all the contact numbers you need as well as the ship's departure times.
2. All staterooms include a private lavatory with shower and toilet and are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, mini-fridge, safe, hairdryer and music playing facilities. The name of the attendant in your cabin is shown on your cabin card. Fabrics such as bedding and towels are provided and changed regularly in your cabin. Soap and shower gel are provided in the lavatory. For environmental reasons and to limit the use of plastics, please ask your cabin steward for a complimentary shower cap and a bottle of moisturizing cream, if needed.
3. A limited number of single cabins are available on board at a fraction of the tariff. On some ships a certain number of double cabins are available for single occupancy if you pay the difference. Please check availability and price when you make your booking. SUITE SPECIALS In addition to the same services and features enjoyed in all cabins, guests in Mini-Suites and Suites enjoy the following special benefits: Priority embarkation - Servant service - Fresh fruit supplied daily - Lunch and dinner in the suite (on request) - Extremely agreeable bathtubs - Bathrobes and slippers - Invitation to the Captain's Premium Cocktail Reception - Priority seating in the a la carte restaurants - Sightseeing activities can be booked by the Servant Service ( Mini-Suites on Destiny & Victoria have showers only).
4. Guests wishing to enjoy a continental breakfast in their cabins may fill out an a la carte menu and hang it on the outside door handle before going to bed. This service will be provided free of charge at the time specified on the order form. SPECIAL BREAKFAST (ONLY ON CERTAIN SHIPS) If you would like to enjoy a breakfast in your cabin prepared for special occasions, you can choose from a wide selection of fresh fruits and juices, a romantic breakfast garnished with red roses, with caviar, salmon, and champagne! Special breakfasts will be charged to your Costa Card.
5. Rooms are serviced 24 hours a day. There is a very low charge for all types of refreshments. Bar drinks are priced appropriately with an additional 15% service charge. A room service checklist is available in the stateroom. All you need to do is to call the relevant telephone number next to the telephone and you will receive what you have ordered in about half an hour. Cabin Temperature You can adjust the temperature of each cabin and suite by using the adjustment buttons placed on the walls of the cabins. If you need help getting the temperature you want, the cabin crew will be happy to help. Interactive TV service is available on some ships, with discs or movies on request (per view) and onboard services can be booked.
6. Voltage on board AC power is used in the cabins: 220 volts/60 hertz AC on the Classic. The cabin shaver uses 220 volts/800 watts.
7, each cabin is provided with a hair dryer for your use. The use of irons in the cabin is strictly prohibited.
8. Children can play with children of different countries of the same age. Parents can rest assured that their children are in the care of the cruise ship's cartoon team. Opening hours: 9:00 a.m. to noon; 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and 9:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. There are four clubs on board***: Mini Club (ages 3-6) where children will have fun with games, craft activities, or a fun-filled "Masquerade Party". The Big Club (ages 7-11) is the perfect place for this age group. They can participate in scavenger hunts or get in shape with jogging and aerobics. They can also watch a variety of videos or play games during quiet time. The Junior (12-14 years) and Youth (15-17 years) Clubs allow teenagers to enjoy their vacation at sea. Stylish teens can participate in sports and fitness activities, watch videos and enjoy rock 'n' roll tunes. Please note that the Junior Club is only open during the months of July and August. When the ship is in port, guests can join Costa-organized excursions and leave their children on board for club activities (onboard reservations required). At night, Costa also offers group childcare for children over the age of three, so parents can enjoy a "night on the town" while their children play quietly with their buddies. The service is available from 11.30pm to 1.30am (reservations required on board). Note - Club programs vary depending on the number of participating children. Club activities may be limited during certain periods. Exact times will be announced on board. Not available for children under 3 years of age.
9. Costa's ships (especially lobbies, cabins and suites) feature a wide range of art, sculpture and fine art by some of the most recognized Italian and international artists. There are also art galleries on some ships and auctions are arranged where you can participate in bidding for high quality works of art.
10.There is a free and open library on board with a large selection of books. The opening day is Tuesday.
11, casino each Costa tanker with a casino with slot machines, roulette, and other casinos. According to international law, the casino is only open when the ship is at sea and is for adults only.
12. Shore excursions are scheduled to coincide with the cruise. Sightseeing tickets can be booked prior to departure and purchased on board. Once on board, details about booking deadlines will be published in TODAY. Seats are limited on some tours, so we strongly recommend purchasing your preferred sightseeing tickets as early as possible in your cruise. There is a minimum number of people on shore excursions. If the number of people is less than the minimum, a group may be required. Tour tickets are non-refundable once booked. Tour schedules and prices may be adjusted by the organizer with little notice prior to the start of the tour. Some shore excursions may not be suitable for travelers with mobility difficulties. Please note that visas may be required for independent travel to some ports, so please inquire before traveling. Please note that although shore excursions are booked through Costa, the visitor is contracting with a local shore excursion operator, and the ticket price includes transportation and guide and visa fees, as well as some fees specifically stated in the relevant presentation. Meals and beverages are included in the price of the ticket only if specifically stated on the ticket. 30% discount on adult shore excursion fares for children aged 4-14 years on Mediterranean and Northern Europe tours, 25% discount on Far East, Dubai, UAE, South America and South America's trans-Atlantic tours, and 10% discount on Caribbean and trans-Atlantic tours. 10% discount on 3 year olds. Children under 3 years of age are free of charge on shore excursions with their parents (no seating).
13, guests can use all the ship's fitness facilities free of charge: gym, jogging track, multi-purpose sports court, sauna, Jacuzzi and swimming pool (the facilities vary from ship to ship). Each cruise ship is equipped with a fitness instructor to provide a series of free guidance, including: fitness steps, low-pressure high-energy aerobics, stretching and relaxation courses, legs, buttocks and water aerobics. All of the equipment used on the ships is manufactured by Technogym, a company whose philosophy is to enhance the quality of life of its customers through a commitment to fitness and beauty. Thanks to the Technogym System's high technology, at the end of the vacation guests will be able to know the exact number of calories they have burned during their vacation (this is a paid service). For an additional fee, you can also book a personal training, yoga or Pilates session. Wellness is a constant theme on Costa Cruises. Special care packages can be booked prior to departure or on board for an additional fee.
14. Cruise photographers can be found at most events and on many shore excursions. When they take your picture, remember that you are under no obligation to purchase it. When the photo gallery is open, you can easily browse and decide whether to purchase a photo. Videographers are also available during cruises and on many shore excursions. At the Photo Shop, you can enjoy portrait services, print your photos and purchase TIM phone cards, postcards, and photographic accessories. Postal services are also available here.
15. Each Costa Cruise ship is connected to the Internet via satellite. Travelers can easily surf the net and pay with their Costa cards. Surf the web, send and receive e-mail, chat online and send greeting cards while you are at sea. Access to the Costa Cruises Group website is free.
16. The last thing a person wants to do on a relaxing vacation is do laundry. Laundry, ironing and dry-cleaning services are provided on board the cruise ship at a low cost and are available overnight. Laundry bags and price lists are provided in the cabins. For safety reasons, ironing is strictly prohibited in staterooms.
17. Medical CenterThe National Onboard Doctors Association (NODA) medical staff and onboard nursing staff are on call 24 hours a day to provide first aid and medical assistance during a cruise. Standard service hours will be published in Today. The ship is equipped with a state-of-the-art medical center with limited medical services. Reasonable rates are charged for specialized services and medications. In addition, the Medical Center and Customer Service Center provide medications to relieve various symptoms of seasickness. Travelers with pre-existing medical conditions should inform Circle World Travel's customer service staff at the time of booking.
18. There is no need to search for your favorite items in the ship's stores and ports of call. The onboard gift store and boutique carry an attractive assortment of merchandise including imported perfumes, cosmetics, resort wear, jewelry, watches, souvenirs, photographic equipment and accessories. Stores are open during the day during the cruise. Duty-free alcohol and foreign cigarettes are available on almost every cruise ship. (A gentle reminder that for the safety and comfort of all travelers, purchased alcohol will be held by the cruise ship and delivered to the traveler's cabin at the end of the tour.)

An evening on a Costa cruise ship is a special time when you will discover new things to enjoy. You can enjoy musical performances, dancing and special shows in the main lounge. You can head to the piano bar for gentle music or to another lounge for fun, games or karaoke. find your favorite spot for a drink or have a dance in the ballroom or maybe even on the deck. DJ services are available all night long at the nightclub. A wide range of entertainment programs can be checked out at Today.
21, Information and Customer Service Center Similar to the hotel reception, the cruise ship lobby has an information/customer service center will be available 24 hours a day to answer any questions visitors may have.
22. Smoking is restricted to the decks and designated smoking areas only. For safety reasons, please do not smoke in your room.
23. Bottled drinking water in the cabin is complimentary, while all tap water in the cabin can be consumed directly.
24. English is the main language spoken on board, but the crew of more than 1,100 from various countries can speak more than 20 languages in total***.
25. The ship's restaurants are open seating (except for the Captain's Dinner, which is held on Tuesday evenings on fixed voyages and on Thursday evenings on special 6-day-5-night voyages). For the Captain's Dinner, there are two seating periods. Passengers are advised to make seating arrangements after boarding the ship.
26. Passengers are advised to dress appropriately at all times. Shorts and slippers are not permitted in all restaurants. For the Captain's Dinner, full evening attire or dress is required. Please dress appropriately for use of the facilities in the Fitness Center. Appropriate footwear should be worn at all times indoors.
27. Visa, Master, American Express, Diners Club and JCB credit cards are accepted on board. Additional charges will apply if the limit is exceeded and approval has to be sought via satellite phone. We also accept traveler's checks, but personal checks are not accepted.
28. The Captain reserves the right to remove a passenger from the ship without refund or compensation for any behavior that harasses or endangers the safety of other passengers.
29. All prices on board are in Singapore dollars. Foreign currency exchange service is also available at the Reception.
