There is a lack of professional doctors, economic constraints and lagging rehabilitation concepts. The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in Northwest China integrates clinical practice, scientific research, rehabilitation and teaching. It has four parts: encephalology outpatient department, rehabilitation department outpatient department, soft tissue outpatient department and inpatient ward. The department has advanced medical equipment, complete treatment methods and strong technical force.
