The approximate cost of starting a company, I think this should be a very real issue. Because in life, there are two tendencies. Some people think that starting a company requires a lot of money, while some people think that starting a company costs nothing. In response to the confusion and misunderstanding in this area, I will explain the experience of some friends around me in starting a company, especially in terms of costs. [Note] The following consumption is based on Shenzhen regional cities, and the currency is RMB.
A. Fundraising preparations
Starting a family and starting a business are the two major events in life. Faced with such a major event as starting a company, we all hope to be stable, long-term and full. . Therefore, funds are generally prepared as much as possible for future use. In terms of funds, I don’t agree to go too far and put all my belongings, especially those of my parents, relatives and friends, or even borrow money. Some people succeed in taking risks, but they feel calm after success, but they feel desolate after failure. After all, we are engaged in design, not business. We must separate business and life. If we design under too much pressure, we will often become anxious. Customers facing low prices are also eager for success. The more anxious they are, the more anxious they will be. Yue Meng. In short, opening a design company should be a matter of course. I personally don’t recommend being too hasty.
B. Form a company
After the funds are in place, the company usually has 5-6 people in the early stage. (I estimate that most of them are like this, and this plan is also calculated at this scale.) So what exactly is the expenditure required to set up the company?
1. Register a company. There are two ways to register a company. One is to go to a government agency yourself. The cost should not be high. For example, if we registered 500,000 yuan, the original price should be 5,000-6,000 yuan. That is to say, you go to various government departments yourself, which may take a long time, and you can collect 500,000 to the basic account. You only need to spend 5-6K to have the name and name of Shenzhen XX Design Company with a registered capital of 500,000. ID.
Generally, if people find it troublesome, they will hire a registered company agent. If the funds are not enough, they can help you advance the capital. Their service fee for registering a design company of 500,000 yuan is usually about 11,000 yuan. All you need for this kind of service is your ID card. (It takes about 15 days to complete)
A correspondingly small registered capital will be correspondingly small, such as 100,000, or even less for a studio. I dare not say anything specific yet. No investigation, no right to speak.
After the company is successfully registered, we will start to choose an address. I think my friends are looking for a place for both commercial and residential use at the beginning, and the general cost is about 2,000 yuan/month. But the deposit usually lasts for 2 months, plus the first month's rent, so you lose 6K yuan. As for the decoration, it depends on your own preferences. If the house itself is decorated, it can be simple. Simple decoration usually costs 8K-1.5W (referring to the floor, walls, changing doors, changing lights, that's all, don't be too optimistic~)
Okay, the house is here, the company Once you have the license, you have to buy some furniture.
For furniture, I see that many first-time entrepreneurs buy new and better desks themselves for good luck. I figured that a set (table, executive chair, reception chair X2) would cost around 1,200; Others can be kept simple, such as screens, card slots, chairs, cabinets, etc., you can buy them from non-branded places. They may not be old, but of good quality, and there is no brand. There is no problem in using them for the first year.
With such an office environment of 5-6 people, I was wondering how I could stop it if I had to pay 8-9K yuan.
Then everything else is up to you, including flowers and plants, water dispensers, air conditioners, fans, computers, and printer hardware. Generally, some of them have been used before, right? ~
Flowers and plants 300
Air conditioner 5000
Drinking water 400 with the initial 40 barrels of water
Added 3 computers, 2 designs , 1 clerk’s, 8000 maybe
Other printers, scanners. . . . . . . . . . . 2000
That’s 15,000 here. . . . . . Including the above 10,000 yuan to register the company, 10,000 yuan to renovate the house, 8k yuan for furniture, and 6k rent deposit
That’s nearly 50,000 yuan for the initial investment.
C, Company Operations
Now it’s time to talk about the most important thing in the 21st century - talent.
How to calculate it? 3 designs? 2 services? Let’s arrange it like this first. Arrange everyone’s salary yourself. It is estimated that they will have to spend 11,000 per month. (If the boss knows design, he can save a main designer, and if he understands business, he can save a salesman), and then There is also finance, which is usually about 300. In the beginning, everyone will do it part-time for you, and they will come over once a month to help you settle your accounts. What about the boss’s own expenses? Let’s try it out by spending 3,500 less.
In this case, the monthly personnel expenses are about 14,000.
Others include:
Rent 2,000
Utilities 1,000
Management fee 300
Consumables, losses 500
Entertainment/transportation expenses 800
………………
The total of the above is 20,000 yuan/month
< p>I think most companies start at this position.D. Company promotion
As the company develops, there will inevitably be a lot of expenses, such as personnel recruitment, which basically costs 600 each time, and some promotion expenses. Advertising promotion, online promotion, purchasing new materials, etc. These must be done when the company is going well or not.
After doing the math above, according to this model, an initial investment of 50,000 is required, and the monthly expenses are around 20,000. We must ensure that we do not receive a single business in the first three months, because the business still requires payment and advance capital.
Haha, as mentioned above, everyone can adjust their expenses according to their own courage, their own background, and their own degree of savings. There is still a lot of flexibility in spending.
I wish everyone good luck and the design world is proud! ~
---------------------------------------
Let me calculate a Beijing standard for everyone, for reference only.
Rent: 4000-8000 (residential only, office buildings must exceed 1W)
Property: 10,000 including water and electricity for one year
Decoration: At least a simple decoration is enough 1W
Furniture: 10000
Computer: PCx3=15000
MACx3=40000
Printer=3000
Scanner=3000
Digital camera=5000
Fax machine=3000
Telephone x3=300
Salary: Design Assistant=2500
Ordinary designer=3500
Senior designer=5000
Niu X designer=6000 or more
Salesman =80commission
Customer Assistant=1500
Account Executive=3500
Self=5000
Benefits: Approximately per person per month 300=2100
Transportation: The whole company expects 2500
Public relations: Only one customer per month is invited to have a big meal and give away some small things = 500
Express delivery: 30 pieces per month=240
Meals: 10 yuan per person=7x10x30=2100 (including overtime meal allowance)
Consumables: Unpredictable
Basically one-time investment:
Registered capital 10W (can find an advance company to bridge)
Hardware equipment 8-10W
Furniture cost 10,000
Decoration cost 10,000
Total about 21,000
Monthly expenses:
Monthly salary 23,000
Every Monthly chores 10,000
Monthly rent 5,000
Total about 35,000-40,000
This is estimated based on the configuration of 7 people. I think if it is 3 people ,
One-time investment = 9W
Monthly expense = 15,000
The rent in Beijing is more expensive, but everything else is about the same.
------------------------------------------------
I am also here to calculate a Shanghai standard for everyone, for reference only.
1. Registering a company
If a company currently registered with RMB 500,000 needs to advance capital, the going price is RMB 2,500 and it will take one month to complete the process
2. Office space
Haha, this is a big problem. Generally, in Shanghai, you have to pay 3 months’ rent and 1 month’s rent.
Don’t consider the office buildings in the inner ring. Residential houses cost 5,000/month. Let’s make a transition first
So prepare 20,000 rent from the beginning (pay 3 and deposit 1)
3. Office supplies
Office furniture + PC × 2 + MAC × 2 + laser printer (can be rented) + inkjet printer + decent scanner + fax machine + digital camera + a laptop that can be taken out + N phone + Network cable + HUB
Go to Qiujiang Road to buy second-hand goods. If you don’t have 4W, you won’t be able to come back.
4. Labor
1 account manager 3000
4 salesmen 800 + commission 800×4=3200
1 does nothing but handles the customer's design Director 5000
2 designers (not too awesome) 3000×2=6000
1 secretary cum front desk and handyman 1200
1 part-time Finance 300
1 BOSS 4000 (pay to yourself)
Total 22700 after tax and it is best not to have local employees, otherwise if you add 4 gold, prepare for more than 3W< /p>
5.
Operation
You must have a capital reserve for no orders for 3 months, otherwise your previous investment will be wasted
The simplest monthly expenditure: 5,000 rent + 50 water bill + 500 electricity bill (Doubled in summer and winter) + 300 consumables + 200 miscellaneous expenses (such as replacing the lamp, or the keyboard is broken) + 2,000 telephone charges (if the telephone sales model is adopted) + 22,700 salary (not counting salesperson commission) + 200 economic park where the registration is located Management expenses = 30,950 yuan
Conclusion:
Initial investment: 92,500
Following monthly: 30,950
This standard is a medium There is room for smaller companies to further reduce their scale, but it will not make much sense
Just for reference~

It seems that personal SOHO is simple, direct and cheap!
The essence of doing business is to get the maximum return with the minimum investment, especially for people like me who are not wealthy, every penny invested must be spent wisely! Let me tell you a way to save money!
Office space and living space (this is not expensive in Guangzhou) - 2500
Office supplies (telephone, air conditioner, ADSL, pen, paper, receipt, etc.) should have been available for a long time, so forget it The price of a second-hand fax machine) ------- 400
A foodie (a high-quality DIY-PC host, a recorder, at least one professional graphics card, a second-hand professional CRT, ordinary Second-hand 15 LCD, one ordinary inkjet printer, one second-hand professional scanner)---15000
In addition, there is also a website space for promotion----300~500 /year
If the printer is no longer used, it will be waived;
The photocopier will be waived if it is no longer used;
If you are not in the photography business, the digital camera will be waived;
< p>The executive chair is super useless and is only for YY and can be exempted;It is worth mentioning about the laptop computer. Many people think that NB is the best choice for demonstrations, but based on my actual use experience, at least the current situation is this: NB has poor performance, is expensive, has poor feel, has poor display performance, and requires complicated operations for demonstrations. It is also not as convenient as paper and CDs. It is particularly worth noting that using the built-in NB to give demonstrations to customers often makes many customers feel that they have a poor sense of intimacy! This is also the reason why I gave up NB after much thought!
For the SOHO people who design this way, it doesn’t matter whether they have a MAC or not! Especially now, many companies have their own internal designers, and most of their equipment is PC, so the communication between PC and PC is very frequent. MAC equipment is expensive and has poor versatility. It is recommended for small units to give up! (I'm not disparaging MAC, MAC fans, please don't criticize me! :8D) You can consider purchasing relatively expensive PC SCSI equipment and professional graphics display equipment. Server-level PCs are still very suitable for small design units!
Recommended optional accessories:
A comfortable keyboard and mouse are definitely the best choice for long-term drawing
High-quality keyboard (second-hand/work bag) - -----150
High-quality mouse (second-hand/work bag)------200
WACOM——600~2000
Large Data exchange is becoming more and more common at this stage
Mobile hard drive - 600~1000
In addition, SOHO colleagues are welcome to add!

Let me add From Nanjing.
I chose the smallest company, the smallest staffing, and the most economical budget. After all, not many rich people start their own businesses, so every penny will be useful.
Company registration: 100,000 yuan including advance capital, about 2,000 yuan, about 10 days; 500,000 yuan including advance capital, about 5,000-6,000.
Office location: One of the most common office buildings, 1,000/month, suitable for 3-4 people. The private housing, including offices and living quarters, does not face the street. It costs about 1,000 yuan and is in slightly better condition.
If I don’t have a place to live, I would recommend private housing, so that I can save on rent for living and working.
ADSL: 1200 per year.
Desk: ordinary 100 yuan/piece, second-hand 50/piece
Computer: 3000/piece is enough for general operation
HUB connector: You can get it for 1-200 yuan
4 million digital camera: 2-3000 yuan
Brother brand all-in-one printer with printing, faxing and copying functions: about 2500 yuan.
Staff: Artists earn around 1,000/month, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, 3,000, 3,00, roughly several levels
Business: Bottom 600-80 commission, you can also consider phone sales , install an IP phone
The start-up capital is almost 50,000, so it’s time to save some money. If you can just start, don’t be ostentatious.
