This standard specifies the terminology and definition of air purifier, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard applies to single-phase rated voltage 220 V, three-phase rated voltage 380 V household and similar uses of air purifiers.
This standard also applies to air purifiers used by non-professionals in public **** places.
This standard does not apply to:
? Air purifiers designed for automotive use;
? Air cleaners designed for industrial use;
? Air purifiers for use in special environments where corrosive and explosive gases (such as dust, vapors, and gas gases) are often generated;
? Air purifiers for medical use.
The provisions in the following documents become the provisions of this standard by reference. Where the cited document is dated, all subsequent change orders (excluding the contents of errata) or revisions thereto do not apply to this standard. However, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate whether the most recent versions of these documents may be used.
