San Quentin, California is the world's most luxurious prison, so why is there a "queue" for executions?

San Quentin is known as the best prison in the world. San Quentin in California is the oldest prison in the state and the only one in California that carries the death penalty. Incarcerated in July 1852, the prison can house a number of notorious inmates, and with a current capacity of 5,300 inmates, it is the largest prison in the United States. But it is also truly astounding in its size, and remains the most luxurious prison of all. Covering 275 acres and costing around $10 million, it is the most valuable prison in the world, and the state of California recently paid over $164 million for it. The $350 million budgeted for exchange rooms, cafeterias and medical equipment to create new medical facilities and cells that can accommodate the death penalty as well as various forms of cellblocking is wonderful!

1. It is well known that the laws of the United States vary from state to state, as the United States is essentially self-governing on the continent and has abolished the death penalty in many places.

This is the only place where you can be executed, but the most surprising thing about prisons is that there is an annual quota for executions. This means that if you are sentenced to death in California, you won't be able to be executed immediately, and you will have to "wait" in prison! According to news reports, some executioners do not have an execution quota and die a natural death at San Quentin.

2. The U.S. government has invested a lot of money in this facility, and as a result, San Quentin has a state-of-the-art U.S. execution system, executioners, family rooms, function suites, etc. The facility has been designed to accommodate the needs of the public.

Families of inmates on death row can see the execution through the clear glass of the room next to the execution chamber and send their loved ones on one last trip. Is that really cruel? During an execution, the inmate's body, hands and feet are secured to a chair. The medical examiner uses a special machine to inject drugs to end the life of the deceased. Outside this window, relatives of the criminal can see the entire execution. Currently, in some U.S. states, injections are a way of punishing criminals.

3. Despite being able to carry out executions, I have always felt that there is still value in the fact that I have such luxurious equipment.

Besides the personal freedom to think, it is also good for retirement. But in the US, the death penalty is very serious and can be punished, and it is estimated that spending their lives here is the best punishment for them! But no one in their right mind would want to live in prison for retirement, so it's best not to commit a crime and go to prison.
