At that time, there was a lack of understanding of the SARS epidemic and rumors were rampant. So all the people who went to the infected area were determined to die. But in order to overcome the epidemic, they set out without hesitation.
In the early morning of April 27, on the highway from Shenyang to Beijing, a convoy of six field emergency vehicles and four sanitary and epidemic prevention vehicles drove in at high speed. Almost to Beijing, the people in the car are wearing masks, the heart can not help but feel a little nervous.
Well, when they got to the outskirts of Beijing, they saw people wearing masks for morning exercise, and their moods calmed down a little. 5:30, after 12 hours of day and night, these cars were successfully handed over to a warehouse in the General Logistics Department. In the following days, the task of 60 field emergency vehicles was also completed ahead of schedule, and the Northeast Bureau was highly praised by the headquarters authorities. A very important factor in the Northeast Bureau's successful completion of the task was that their bureau had made fuller preparations for emergency procurement several years earlier.
In 2000, the Northeast Bureau set up a subject matter group to begin work on emergency plans. The group went to the Joint Logistics Department of the military region, the Joint Logistics Division, the Mobil Division, logistics colleges, and the National Defense Mobilization Agency (NDMA) to conduct a detailed study on the system of material support for the troops and the demand for materials.
