Currently, the region has one 23,000-unit peaking power plant and one 44,000-unit thermal power plant, six 35,000-volt substations, eight 110,000-volt substations and two 220,000-volt substations. There are 2 sewage treatment plants with a daily treatment capacity of 50,000 tons under construction. Wujiang District 400,000 tons of regional water supply project, which can directly supply Taihu Lake secondary water to the whole district.

The customs and commodity inspection are set up in the development zone, which can provide services such as customs declaration, opening and sealing, EDI networking, bonded spare parts and finished products, commodity inspection and quarantine, etc., and the clearance time for general cargoes is no more than 2 hours.
Financial institutions in the zone include Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of Jiangsu, Rural Commercial Bank and China Construction Bank, etc., all of which are capable of carrying out international business and providing loans for enterprises' fixed assets and working capital.
