What are some of the ways that an average Dragon Ball Battle 5 guy can get stronger fast and rival Goku?

I think Akira Toriyama's creation of the classic manga "Dragon Ball" has a lot of details that are worth being discussed, and the strengths of the two characters, Goku and Vegeta, are often compared to each other. If you're familiar with Dragon Ball, you should know that Vegeta's strength was even higher than Goku's when he first came to Earth, but by the time he got to the Namikaze chapter, there was suddenly a huge gap between their strengths. What happened in between? The Japanese otaku have expressed their opinions on this, let's see what they think!

I've always felt that the character power-ups in Dragon Ball seem like a mystery. Take Goku and Vegeta for example. When Vegeta first came to Earth, he absolutely crushed all the fighters except Goku, and even when Goku came, it took a lot of cooperation from Gohan, Kobayashi, and the others to defeat Vegeta. Obviously, Vegeta was stronger than Goku at this time. But why is it that by the time we get to the Namikaze chapter, Vegeta's power is only 20,000 or 30,000 at first, but Goku can easily reach 180,000 just by using the King's Fist? I know that Goku struggled with death many times before he came to Namikaze, but Vegeta had a similar experience, right? It's not like the gap between the two should have gotten so big so quickly. Don't tell me it's a talent gap, how could the Saiyan Prince's talent be lost to Goku?

Dragon Ball's fighting system was supposed to start falling apart after the Saiyan chapter. Think about it, when Raditz came to Earth, Goku's combat power was just over 1000, right? But just a year later, Goku's fighting power had increased by at least 10 times. And it improved by leaps and bounds again when he got to the Namikaze chapter. If Goku really had that much potential, why didn't he make particularly big strides before the Saiyan chapter started? I think that later on Akira Toriyama simply increased Goku's fighting power dramatically in order to provide a possibility for him to defeat Frieza. By normal logic, Goku couldn't have reached that exaggerated level even if he had multiple deathbed resurrections. To realize that in just 2 years, Goku went from over 1,000 combat power to over 1,000,000 in later Saiyans, that can't be explained by logic anymore.

Actually, if it was just Goku's own power increase, I think it would be understandable. After all, the Saiyan "resurrecting from the dead can dramatically increase your strength" is still useful. Who knows how many Senzu Beans Goku ate on the ship to get to that level. Vegeta was only healed once after he came back from Earth, once after he fought Sabo, then he was healed with Senzu Beans and once by Dendi. Plus a **** only four times. So if Goku has had eight experiences, it's only natural that he would surpass Vegeta in terms of strength, right? And it's worth noting that the reason no other Saiyan has been able to do the upgrades that Goku did is because none of them had Senzu Beans! Without the Senzu Beans, even Frieza's medical equipment would take a long time to heal someone, and I'm afraid the other Saiyans would have died before they had a chance to be healed, thus making Goku the alternative.

Actually one thing about Goku, besides the fact that he's experienced more life and death moments on the spaceship than Vegeta, is that he can use the KAI Fist ah. In fact didn't he use the KAI King's Fist when he reached 180,000 fighting power? Vegeta, on the other hand, has no experience in this area of cultivation, and can only rely on the surface of the combat power to fight against Frieza, then naturally will be at a disadvantage. At the same time, Vegeta didn't know at the time that he could achieve a breakthrough in the Super Saiyan bottleneck through anger, whereas Goku just happened to instantly become a Super Saiyan as a result of witnessing Kobayashi's murder. In short, I've always thought Vegeta would never lose out to Goku in terms of talent, it's just the way he does it that makes the difference. But what really boggles my mind is why wouldn't he be willing to consult Goku and learn skills that would enhance his fighting prowess?

楼上的,如果请教技能的话,那么不是贝吉塔啊。 Once you ask for advice, isn't it like admitting defeat (bitter smile)? Also according to the plot, by the stage of the Namek chapter, simply exercising the physical body has limited power gains, and what's really needed is the polishing of the heart. So later on in the Saru chapter, Goku goes further and has more strength than Vegeta yet.

Actually, even though Goku was ahead of Vegeta in terms of strength for a while with the Sentou, the two were still at about the same level in the Bioroids chapter. But Vegeta's downfall is that he tends to get cocky and that's what causes him to fail all the time yet.
