Shanghai Second People's Hospital, formerly known as "Shanghai Hospital", was founded in 1904, is the first Chinese and Western medicine hospital founded by the Chinese in Shanghai. Shanghai Second People's Hospital is located in Shanghai's famous Nanpu Bridge on both sides of Duojia Road, east of the Huangpu River, west of Zhongshan South Road, covers an area of 21.8 acres. The building complex mainly consists of surgical and internal buildings, outpatient and emergency building, ophthalmic center building, medical technology building, administrative building, etc., with a total construction area of 24,700 square meters.
