Huazhong University alumnus Ren Kang tells the story of entrepreneurship

Ren Kang, a graduate of the School of Automation at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, chose the latter when he started his business?In 2013, he founded Shenzhen Zhenluo Technology Co., Ltd, which focuses on the combination of engineering electronics and traditional medical care, and applies his knowledge of engineering to groups of Parkinson's patients in the hope of helping them to overcome the difficulties of life.
On the evening of March 23rd, Ren Kang was a guest at the Alumni Forum of Huazhong University, sharing his entrepreneurial story with students and faculty, and also revealing that he will shift his company's research and development center in Shenzhen to Wuhan's Optics Valley.

In 2008, Ren Kang graduated with a master's degree and chose Huawei for his first job.

In 2010, Ren Kang came to Philadelphia with the task of bringing Huawei's set-top box into the North American market. However, the North American set-top box market, which was monopolized by several giants, was already saturated, leaving no opportunity for Huawei to take advantage of it. But RenKang didn't back down, and he traveled all over the North American states.
At one point, he heard from a customer who wanted to add a graphical interface to their set-top box. In his judgment, this might be an opportunity for a large company that has a long decision-making cycle and does not necessarily customize for its customers. In this way, Ren Kang helped Huawei get its first order in North America by completing the GUI independently, and the following year he completed a project in Europe independently.

Entrepreneurship seems wonderful, but it is hard.
Select Parkinson's group for the beginning of product development, Ren Kang led the team to research more than 80 Parkinson's patients in the country, each person to do four hours of interviews, only interview data up to more than 300 hours.
? Almost every Parkinson's patient has varying degrees of depression.? Renkang vividly remembers one 60-something-year-old woman who had had open-heart surgery that didn't work well, and who cried every 20 minutes during the interviews.
These experiences have made Ren Kang more determined to produce better products to alleviate the pain of patients, and at the same time, he is also actively involved in public welfare activities, always want to be a company with a humanistic sentiment.

Earlier this year, Zhenluo Technology received a round of A financing led by Yoyin Medical Fund and followed by Wuhan Optics Valley Talent Fund. Previously, the company also received an angel investment of 10 million RMB from China Venture Capital and more than 10 million RMB from Amoeba in Pre-A round financing.
Currently, RenKang's team has also developed a new product with ? Rui meal anti-shaking spoon? The doctor's end APP that works with it has been applied in Grade 3A hospitals such as Union Hospital and Tongji Hospital. In the future, the team will also work on the development of Parkinson's disease clinical database, which is expected to benefit more than one million Parkinson's disease patients in China.
In addition, aiming at the Parkinson's dyskinesia problem, the company has launched the first generation of anti-shaking scoops on top of the ? Movement Disorder Solution? Rui Meal Intelligent Anti-Shaking Spoon II? and? Gait Assist Two types of prototype systems, starting from the two basic bodily functions of independent eating and walking, help Parkinson's and movement disorder patients to rebuild their confidence in life. By the end of this year, this gait assistance product is expected to be marketed in Wuhan.
Ren Kang also revealed that the company has registered a subsidiary in Wuhan,? Now that Wuhan has undergone a sea change, more and more are willing to stay here.
