Description ■Product Functions and Features
The main function of this product is to replace the traditional RS232 serial communication cable, and transform the wired serial connection into a wireless Bluetooth connection, so as to realize wireless serial communication. This product can be connected to any device with a standard RS232 serial port and can communicate wirelessly with other serial port Bluetooth adapters or laptops, PDAs, cell phones and other devices with Bluetooth SPP communication capabilities.
●This product is embedded with Bluetooth communication protocol software inside, supports Bluetooth SPP (Serial Port Profile) and GAP (Generic Access Profile), and can be used on any device with a standard RS232 serial port without the need of installing a driver that supports its work on the device it is attached to.
●Connect and communicate with Bluetooth-enabled notebook PCs, desktop PCs equipped with Bluetooth adapters, Bluetooth PDAs, Bluetooth GPS, and other various devices that support Bluetooth SPP service.
●Users do not need to know the specialized knowledge of Bluetooth communication technology, it is still an ordinary serial communication for users, and there is no difference with the traditional serial cable connection, and the serial communication software or serial communication code used on the wired serial connection can still be used.
●Transmit power up to Bluetooth Class 1 level, open space communication distance up to 100 meters, with other Class 1 Bluetooth devices for long-distance removable wireless serial communication.
●Provide rich AT command settings. Users can set the Bluetooth serial port communication rate, flow control, stop bit, check mode, set the adapter's Bluetooth device name, master-slave role, pairing password, and also intervene in the communication process and query the adapter's status through AT commands.
●Power supply to the adapter through the MiniUSB port on the adapter. There are two ways to supply power: one is to use the USB cable that comes with the product, connecting one end to the USB port of the computer and the other end to the MiniUSB port of the adapter; the other is to use a 220V-5V power adapter with a MiniUSB port.
●Provide switch between DCE and DTE. If the connected device is a DTE device, it will switch to DTE; if the connected device is a DCE device, it will switch to DCE.
