The hospital is the first hospital in Yunnan Province approved by the Ministry of Health to carry out in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer, intracytoplasmic sperm microinjection and donor artificial insemination. It was the first in the province and the fourth in China to obtain the technical acceptance certificate of clinical gene amplification laboratory issued by the Ministry of Health. First-class laboratory of genetic diagnosis center and laboratory of clinical basic medical research have been established. There are 52 medical departments in the hospital, among which 12 departments, such as respiratory medicine, hematology, endocrinology, cardiovascular medicine, neurology, hepatobiliary surgery, thoracic and cardiac surgery, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology and reproductive genetics, are key departments in the province.
