(1) Transport the gas from A to B, and the initial and final pressure of the gas will not change (through the blower);
(2) Used to increase gas pressure (with compressor);
(3) Used to reduce the pressure of gas (or steam) (with a vacuum pump).
According to the working principle, gas conveying equipment can also be divided into centrifugal, rotary, reciprocating and jet. According to the outlet pressure (final pressure) and compression ratio, it can be divided into the following categories:
① Ventilator: the final pressure (gauge pressure, the same below) is not more than 15kPa (about 1500mmH2O), and the compression ratio is 1 ~ 1. 15
② blower: final pressure 15~300kPa, and compression ratio less than 4.
③ Compressor: The final pressure is above 300kPa, and the compression ratio is greater than 4.
④ Vacuum pump: negative pressure is generated in the equipment, the final pressure is atmospheric pressure, and the compression ratio is determined by the vacuum degree.
