Spray paint classification

Classification standards

1, according to the type of classification: manual spray paint and automatic spray paint.

2, according to the car paint varieties: alkyd paint, acrylic paint, water paint.

Spray paint standards, according to the volume (European Paint USA company standards) can be divided into 200 and 400ml two different volumes of spray paint.

3. According to the brightness is divided into high-gloss (also called glossy), semi-matte, matte (also called full matte).

The problem of paint gloss

The unit of paint gloss is degree: gloss ≥ 90 degrees, 50 degrees ≤ semi-matte ≤ 70 degrees, matte ≤ 30 degrees. From time to time, it is interpreted as a few points of light, generally speaking, glossy for nine points of light, semi-matte for five points of light or six points of light, matte for three points of light.

Gloss and matte in the formulation of the difference is mainly matte paint added matte powder (also called matte powder), which causes the formation of diffuse reflection on the surface of the paint, so as to achieve the role of matte.

Isn't the glossier the better?

High-brightness lacquer furniture, the perception will be more beautiful and colorful, high gloss, flat and smooth. But people or other objects in contact with it is easy to leave more obvious traces, including indoor dust, looks like there will be a sense of dirt, need to be cleaned up from time to time.

Low brightness lacquer furniture of the above situation feel to be less, just will look darker.

In addition, most of the brightness of the paint is PU (polyester) nature of the paint is very hard, as long as the paint is not a problem, it will not be easy to wear and tear, not to mention cracking.

Paint spraying precautions

1. Use compressed air to spray the paint into a mist on the object being painted. (To include plastic, wood, metal)

2. Automatic spray paint, that is, paint and gas sealed filling in the can, easy to transport and save. Very convenient to use.

3. How to use acrylic paint:

a. Suggested choices Pick the size and quantity according to 0.8m/200ml, for the same color of the same job, it is best to choose the same batch of products to avoid regional color differences.

b.Before spraying It is recommended to choose similar products for simulation test. In order to achieve the expected results.

c.Before use, shake the product evenly up and down for 2 minutes, use the built-in glass ball to stir the paint and gas. in order to get the best results.

d. 25-35cm from the spraying surface to press down the nozzle, evenly move the spray can to achieve a spraying belt, up and down the spraying, resulting in spraying surface, do not spray continuously at a point, will cause backflow (tears) phenomenon.

e. After use, if there is remaining in the tank, must be inverted spray, that is, the tank is inverted by spraying 2 to 5 down the nozzle, in order to use the gas to clean the remaining gas in the pipeline, otherwise the product in 1 hour after the blockage of the tank and scrapped.

Painting hazards

Hazard: in the case of unprotected paint spraying, the air in the workplace benzene concentration is quite high, on the paint spraying workers is very harmful. Long-term exposure to benzene can cause chronic poisoning, resulting in leukopenia, platelet reduction, bone marrow hematopoietic dysfunction and other diseases. The hazards of paint on the human body, not only through the lungs and inhalation can occur, but also through the skin absorption. The direct contact of human skin with paint can dissolve the fat in the skin, causing skin dryness and cracking, inflammation, and at the same time, it also enters the human body. Car painting is one of the important elements of automobile beauty, workers will inevitably come into contact with benzene in their work, must be well protected, and the duration of the work should not exceed 30 minutes. The human body if the intake of benzene is too much, light will appear aplastic anemia, heavy will suffer from leukemia. Therefore, when spraying paint must be prepared to protect the configuration, while limiting the working time, and the workplace to have good ventilation.
