The school was founded in 1993, and was approved by Shandong Provincial Department of Education in 2003 to prepare for the establishment of Jinan Concordia Vocational and Technical College, and approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government in 2004, to be reconstructed as Shandong Concordia In 2011, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to a general undergraduate college.
The campus covers an area of 1,087,000 square meters, with a building area of 415,000 square meters, and the total value of instruments and equipments is more than 120 million yuan, forming a perfect campus network system.
