Subsystem power plant two 1044 kW (1419 shaft horsepower) General Electric T58-GE-10 turboshaft engines. There are three bladder fuel tanks in the belly of the aircraft, the capacity of the front fuel tank is 1,314 liters, the capacity of the central fuel tank is 530 liters, and the rear fuel tank is 1,336 liters, with a total fuel capacity of 3,180 liters. There is a refueling port on the left side of the fuselage. Slick oil capacity is 26.5 liters.

The cockpit cockpit has a main and co-pilot, two sonar operators in the main cabin, and two sets of maneuvering systems. The crew access hatch is on the left side of the fuselage behind the cockpit. The large cargo door is on the right side of the fuselage behind the cockpit.

Systems***There are three hydraulic systems. The main and secondary hydraulic systems are used for flight control. The general purpose hydraulic system (third set) is used for landing gear retraction, winching and paddle folding. The cold air system for emergency landing gear lowering has a pressure of 211 kg/cm2. The electrical system consists of a 300-amp DC generator, two 20-kVA 115-volt alternators and a 24-volt, 22-amp-hour nickel-cadmium battery. An optional auxiliary power unit is also available.

Airborne equipment Bendix AQS-13 sonar with 180° detection range; Hamilton Standard automatic stabilization equipment; automatic transition to hover equipment; and a sonar coupler coupled to a Tridaine APN-130 Doppler radar and radar altimeter for automatic altitude maintenance. A rescue winch with a carrying capacity of 272 kilograms and a self-launching, low gust response cargo sling with a carrying capacity of 3,630 kilograms are available.
