Medical institutions with automatic fire safety facilities should be tested at least four times a year.
According to Article 35 of the Measures for the Administration of Fire Safety in Medical Institutions, medical institutions with automatic fire safety facilities should be tested at least four times a year for automatic fire safety facilities. These four tests include:
1, daily inspection: daily inspection of automatic fire protection facilities to ensure their normal operation.
2, quarterly maintenance: quarterly maintenance and repair of automatic fire protection facilities, including cleaning, lubrication, debugging and other work to ensure its reliable performance.
3, half-yearly inspection: a comprehensive inspection every six months, the automatic fire protection facilities of the parameters and functions of a comprehensive test and evaluation.
4, annual overhaul: a comprehensive annual overhaul, in addition to routine maintenance and semi-annual inspection of the content, but also includes the replacement of wearing parts, recalibration and other repair work to ensure the long-term stability of the facilities.
This frequency of inspection ensures that the automatic fire protection facilities in medical institutions can work properly at critical times, providing effective fire protection and rescue capabilities.
Purpose of testing
1. Ensure the reliability of fire protection facilities: Through regular testing, the normal operation of fire protection facilities can be verified, including the alarm system, fire extinguishing equipment, and evacuation routes. The testing helps to identify faults, damage or unsuitability of the equipment and take timely measures to repair or replace them to ensure that the facilities can work reliably when a fire occurs.
2. Preventing fire risks: Regular testing can identify potential fire hazards and risks. Through the inspection of fire protection facilities, equipment aging, blockage, power failure and other problems can be found in a timely manner, and take appropriate maintenance and improvement measures to reduce the probability of fire and improve fire prevention.
3. Enhance the safety awareness of employees and the public: Regular testing is a process of maintenance and upkeep of fire protection facilities, which can remind employees and the public to pay attention to fire safety issues. Through testing, it can strengthen people's awareness of fire risks, cultivate a correct sense of escape and self-help, and improve the ability to deal with sudden fire accidents.
