Can the ear see the eardrum with the eye

The eardrum cannot be seen with the eyes. The eardrum is located deep in the external auditory canal and cannot be directly observed by the ordinary eye. However, the eardrum can be seen by a doctor or a specialized medical device using a special tool. Doctors use a tool called an otoscope or stethoscope, which is placed on the outside of the ear, to see the condition of the eardrum. The otoscope, which is usually equipped with a light source and a magnifying glass, allows the doctor to clearly see the color, shape, and structure of the eardrum to determine if it is healthy.
