Difference between TPU, fluororubber and LSR in liquid silicone rubber

TPU, fluororubber and liquid silicone rubber LSR are three kinds of plastics with different components: TPU is a polymer material made by polymerizing diisocyanate molecules such as toluene dicyanate (TDI) or diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) with macromolecular polyol and low molecular polyol (also called chain extender), and TPU is also called thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer. It has good elasticity and aging resistance. At present, the transparent elastic band in clothes is made of pure TPU.

Fluorine rubber refers to a synthetic polymer elastomer with fluorine atoms in its main chain or side chain carbon atoms. The introduction of fluorine atoms gives rubber excellent heat resistance, oxidation resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance and atmospheric aging resistance. It has been widely used in aerospace, aviation, automobile, petroleum, household appliances and other fields, and is an irreplaceable key material in the cutting-edge national defense industry.

Liquid silicone rubber LSR is a kind of liquid rubber, which has good fluidity, fast vulcanization speed, safer and more environmentally friendly, and can completely meet the requirements of food grade. Liquid silica gel needs to be produced by injection molding machine, which is mainly used for baby products, medical supplies and electronic products (buttons). There is also an A/B mixture, which is directly put into the mold and then baked in the oven (the production and operation method of silicone breast milk), as well as silica gel and trademark glue used to make liquid silica gel rollers. It depends on what products you use. Generally, liquid silica gel is used after vulcanization, but it can also be used as a filler, such as electrical insulation filler, liquid silica gel filler for breast augmentation, or as an additive in cosmetics.
