First, the materials needed to open a pharmacy:

1. Application Form for Drug Business License;

2. The approval certificate of the proposed enterprise issued by the administrative department for industry and commerce;

3. The organization of the enterprise to be established;

Second, the conditions needed to open a pharmacy:

1. It has qualified pharmaceutical technicians according to law;

2. Having business premises, equipment, storage facilities and sanitary environment suitable for the drugs handled;

3. Having a quality management organization or personnel suitable for the drugs handled;

4. There are rules and regulations to ensure the quality of drugs.

Legal basis: Article 52 of the Drug Administration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall meet the following conditions when engaging in drug business activities:

(1) Pharmacists or other pharmaceutical technicians who have obtained qualifications according to law;

(2) Having business premises, equipment, storage facilities and sanitary environment suitable for the drugs handled;

(3) It has a quality management organization or personnel suitable for the drugs it deals in;

(4) There are rules and regulations to ensure the quality of drugs, which meet the requirements of the "Quality Management Standards for Pharmaceutical Trading" formulated by the drug supervision and administration department of the State Council in accordance with this Law.
