The basic model of Harmony CRH2 electric locomotive set

In August 2004, the former Chinese Ministry of Railways launched the first round of bidding for the introduction of high-speed locomotive technology for the sixth major speed increase of Chinese railroads and the 200-kilometer-per-hour level, and the Japanese companies Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric, Hitachi, Itochu, and Marubeni formed the "Consortium of Japanese Enterprises". "Ltd. and China South Locomotive Group Sifang Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. jointly bid and successfully won the tender. On October 20, 2004, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, on behalf of the "consortium of Japanese enterprises" and the Ministry of Railways of China signed a contract on the export of railroad vehicles and transfer of technology in Beijing, with a total value of RMB 9.3 billion. The first 60 200km/h class trainsets in the order were then formally modeled as CRH2A (CRH2A-2001-2060), which is a 4-car train with 4 trailers (4M4T), with 4,800kW of traction power, a maximum operating speed of 250km/h, a nominal speed of 200km/h, and two sets of pantographs. The train is equipped with two sets of pantographs. The train is equipped with a first-class car, a second-class car, and a second-class car/dining car, in which the first-class and second-class seats can be swiveled. The CRH2A can be operated with two sets of heavy couplings. The CRH2A is basically the same as Japan's prototype E2 series, and uses the same traction motors as those used in the E2 series, but with appropriate changes according to China's national conditions and railroad standards, including the installation of a traction motor that uses the German Stemmann-Technik company ("Stemmann-Technik"), which is the world's largest manufacturer of traction motors. These include the installation of DSA250 pantographs with Stemmann-Technik technology (the Japanese E2-1000 uses PS207) to adapt to the highly variable contact network along the line. Multiple signaling antennas are mounted on the top of all driving trailers, which are not found on their Japanese counterparts.

According to the contract, three of the 60 trains will be completed in Japan and shipped to China in one piece; another six trains will be shipped in bulk and assembled by the Chinese side; and the remaining 51 sets will be produced domestically by CSR Sifang Rolling Stock through technology transfer from Japan. However, some high-tech components, including IGBTVVVF traction inverters, etc., will still use Japanese original products before China has the ability to localize them.On August 13, 2005, the former Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China (PRC) signed a technology transfer contract of 51 sets of CRH2A locomotives to six parties, namely, CSR Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Vehicle, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (Mitsubishi Electric), Zhuzhou Institute of Automotive Technology (ZXI), Zhuzhou South Locomotive Electric Corporation (Zhuzhou CSREC) and Shijiazhuang Guoxiang Transportation Equipment Corporation. On March 8, 2006, the first set of CRH2A (CRH2A-2001) arrived in Qingdao, China. on July 31, 2006, the first set of localized CRH2A produced by CSR Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Company Limited was completed and handed over for inspection and started mass production.

Since January 28, 2007, the first 10 sets of CRH2A trains have been put into trial operation on Shanghai-Hangzhou line (Shanghai-Hangzhou) and Shanghai-Nanjing line (Shanghai-Nanjing). Before the implementation of the sixth major speed increase in China's railroads, the maximum speed of train operation was limited to 160 kilometers per hour, to April 18 of the same year, "six" after the implementation of the maximum operating speed increased to 250 kilometers per hour. In the first batch of 200 kilometers per hour level of rolling stock, CRH2A is the first all off the line of the car models, 60 columns of CRH2A has been delivered at the end of November 2007, and won the 2007 National Railway Science and Technology Award first prize.

CRH2A-2010 is one of the comprehensive inspection trains assigned by China Railway Corporation, which is installed with ATP, signal parameters, wireless field strength, bow network relationship, track geometry, dynamics and acceleration detection equipment and line monitoring system, and is mainly responsible for the track geometry, dynamics, contact network, track geometry, track dynamics and acceleration detection of the newly built high-speed railroads of 200-250 kilometers per hour class and the existing main lines of the speed upgrading. The track geometry, dynamics, contact network, signal, ATP, wireless communication, line environment, etc., have been subjected to cyclic inspection three times a month, with an average of about 45,000 kilometers per month, and their inspection results are sent to the competent department of the Ministry of Railways and the maintenance department of the relevant railroad bureaus in a timely manner.

On September 14, 2010, Wuhan Railway Bureau signed a new batch of rolling stock sales contract with CSR Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Company Limited, ****40 CRH2A rolling stock (CRH2A-2151 ~ CRH2A-2190), with a total value of about 3.4 billion RMB. The second batch of CRH2A train sets made a few changes on the basis of the first batch of grouping, in which the third compartment was changed to a first-class/second-class seat car (ZYE), with a mixed arrangement of first-class compartment seats and second-class seats, and the number of second-class seats was reduced to 43, but there were three new first-class compartments*** with 16 seats, including one 4-person and two 6-person compartments, with a total of 59 people in five compartments; in addition, the number of first-class seat cars was reduced to 43; and the number of first-class seat cars was reduced to 1,000, with a total of about RMB 1 billion. Reduced the number of first-class cars to a section (seven carriages).

The unified type CRH2A

In 2013, the new acquisition of rolling stock, according to the requirements of the China Railway Corporation to adopt the previous operating experience and passenger demand, in the various types of rolling stock technology platform, the train model, capacity, passenger service facilities, driver operating facilities, the main performance of the train is designed to unify and design the design of rolling stock and derived from the unified type CRH2A. CRH2A, CRH2 now belongs to Nanning Railway Bureau, Chengdu Railway Bureau, Nanchang Railway Bureau, Xi'an Railway Bureau, Taiyuan Railway Bureau, the numbering of CRH2 after No. 212.CRH2A has a lot of differences with the previous production of CRH2: Compared with part of the batch of CRH2A trains, CRH2A canceled the first-class compartment. Car 1 is a first-class car, and the windows of the first-class compartment use the windows of the second-class compartment. Toilets are provided in each car. Barrier-free seats are provided in some carriages. The driver's doors of the first and last cars are canceled and replaced by glass, and the driver's door is set at the entrance of the first and last cars. The driver's seat is changed from the original left position to the center position, and the layout of the driver's platform is the same as that of CRH380A. The antenna on the top of the driver's trailer is canceled. In 2007, CSR Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. received a new order from the Ministry of Railways for 10 CRH2B 16-section long-set trainsets, with a total contract value of about 3 billion RMB, numbered CRH2B-2111 ~ CRH2B-2120. The CRH2B has been expanded to 16 sections on top of the CRH2A, and has been retrofitted with semi-active vibration absorbers, end-coupled dampers (end dampers), head-end dampers, and a new head-end damper. The CRH2B was expanded to 16 sections based on the CRH2A, and was fitted with semi-active shock absorbers, end-coupled dampers (end dampers), head car lights on both sides, and also improved air-conditioning ventilation. There are 3 sections of first-class car, 12 sections of second-class car and 1 section of the dining car, in which the first-class and second-class seats can be rotated, the whole train capacity increased to 1,230 people, and in the compartment with a TV screen film and television system. Formation is 8 cars with 8 trailers (8M8T), every 4 sections for a unit, traction power of 9600 kW, the highest operating speed of 250 kilometers per hour, nominal speed of 200 kilometers per hour. The train is equipped with four pairs of DSA250 pantographs.CRH2B type long formation train sets canceled the reconnection control system, so it is not possible for two cars to run in reconnection.

The first CRH2B (CRH2B-2111) rolled off the assembly line on June 29, 2008, and from August 1, 2008, the train was officially launched. And from August 1, 2008, it was officially put into operation on the Heining Railway.

All 10 sets of CRH2B are now assigned to Shanghai Railway Bureau. From June to September 2005, the former Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China*** and the State launched the second round of bidding for high-speed rolling stock at the level of 300 kilometers per hour, and the form of bidding was obviously different from the bidding for the first 200 kilometers per hour level of rolling stock at that time, which was that extensive anti-Japanese demonstrations had just taken place on the mainland of China and, in order to avoid anti-Japanese sentiments, the former Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China*** and the State and its agent, Sinotech International Bidding Co. Sinotech International Bidding Company did not issue a tender notice, but adopted the "competitive negotiation" (a form of government procurement, i.e., a small-scale mainland offer and negotiation) method; the Ministry of Railways even denied that it had conducted ordering negotiations with Japan for a time, and China South Locomotive Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Company Limited and Japan's Kawasaki Heavy Industries did not make a clear statement publicly. The Ministry of Railways once denied ordering negotiations with Japan, and CSR Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Co. As a result, following the joint bidding of Siemens and Tangshan Railway Coach, Sifang Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. and the "Japanese enterprise consortium" once again succeeded in winning the bidding. And won the order of 60 CRH2C train sets, including the first phase of CRH2C and the second phase of CRH2C, with a total contract value of 9.5 billion yuan.

CRH2C first stage

CRH2C first stage *** there are 30 trains, No. CRH2C-2061~2090, is modified on the basis of the 200km/h platform of CRH2A, increasing the number of movable cars to 6 sections (6M2T), with a traction power of 7,200 kW, adopting a large-scale hollow and thin-walled aluminum alloy welded structure, using the DSA350 high-speed pantographs, as well as the addition of baffles on both sides of the pantographs, and so on. According to the contract, the design specifications of CRH2C (Phase I) are: continuous operation speed of 275 km/h, maximum operation speed of 300 km/h (actual maximum operation speed of 350 km/h), maximum experimental speed of 350 km/h, nominal speed of 300 km/h, and the train is equipped with two sets of pantographs. It is used in new high-speed intercity railroads and passenger dedicated lines (e.g. Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line).CRH2C can be operated in two groups in heavy connection.

The first CRH2C train set (CRH2C-2061) left the factory on December 22, 2007, followed by CSR Sifang and China Railway Research Institute of the train set for a period of seven months of experimental testing and trial operation test, from the beginning of 2008 to the end of June of the same year, has completed the loop line, Qin-Shenzhen and Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Line of the various performance tests, type tests, line tests, during the test***. In January 2008, CRH2C-2061 and CRH2C-2062 were driven by Sifang factory to Beijing Circular Railway for operation test. on April 24, 2008, CRH2C-2061 was tested on Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway for high speed. On April 24, 2008, CRH2C-2061 was tested on the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, and its maximum speed reached nearly 370 kilometers per hour, breaking the record of 321.5 kilometers per hour created by the "China Star". By the end of June of the same year, the record was broken by the German-made CRH3 at 394.3 kilometers per hour. After that, in January 2010, the car set another speed of 393 kilometers per hour in Zhengzhou West High Speed Railway.

From July 1, 2008, the first six CRH2C trains simulated the normal operation condition in the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway for a one-month trial operation.

From August 1, 2008, the CRH2C trains were formally put into operation in the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway. Until February 2009, all 10 CRH2C (Phase I) trains were delivered to the railroad. In April 2009, the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway switched to CRH3 electric locomotives, and the CRH2Cs were no longer responsible for daily operations, but only served as hot standby trains and line inspection vehicles.

On November 23, 2008, CRH2C-2067 and CRH2C-2068 were transported to Hankou, and from January 8, 2009, they started testing on Wuhan Comprehensive Test Section of Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line, and from July to September, 2009, CRH2C-2061, 2067, 2068 carried out local sections of the Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line for the joint commissioning and high-speed test run.

On March 27, 2009, when the CRH2C-2070 train set was undergoing line tests on the Jiao-Ji Railway, the pantograph of the No. 6 compartment failed to be tightly bonded with the insulator, resulting in a failure of the pantograph falling off.

In 2010, CRH2C-2061 began testing on the integrated test section of the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway (after completion of the test, it was transferred from the Beijing Railway Bureau to the Ministry of Railways as a test train).

On July 1, 2011, CRH2C-2061 began testing on the integrated test section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (Mainland section).

CRH2C Phase II

According to the contract signed in 2005, the second phase of CRH2C is planned to produce 30 trains, numbered from CRH2C-2091 to CRH2C-2110 and from CRH2-2141 to CRH2C-2150, with 8-knots configuration.

The second phase of CRH2C is re-developed based on the first phase, with improved design in many aspects. The second phase of the CRH2C was re-developed on the basis of the first phase, and the design was improved in many aspects. Compared with the first stage of the train set, the second stage of the CRH2C uses a more powerful YQ-365 AC traction motor (365 kW), increasing the total power of the 8-car short-form trains to 8,760 kW, and the transmission ratio has been modified accordingly, increasing the train's sustained operating speed to 350 km/h, and the maximum operating speed to 380 km/h. The aluminum structure of the body and the soundproofing are also improved, and the train is equipped with a new design. The aluminum alloy structure of the car body and the sound insulation and vibration damping and noise reduction technology are borrowed from the design of CRH3 to improve the *** vibration and aerodynamic deformation of the car body in high-speed operation, and the bogie two-system suspension is improved, and an anti-snaking shock absorber is added to solve the vertical and lateral vibration problems existing in the first phase of CRH2C. In addition, the train also enhanced the design of drag reduction, such as the change of the two side baffles of the pantograph to a three-dimensional enclosure fairing (after the 093C model changed back to the two side baffles), as well as the reduction of signal antennae on the roof of the head car, and so on. In terms of interior design, the interior fabrics also partially mimic the warm wood tones of the CRH3 model, and make extensive use of LED light sources. The first CRH2C Phase II train set (CRH2C-2191) was completed in January 2010 and has been in operation since February 2010 on the Zhengzhou West Passenger Dedicated Line.

Among the 30 CRH2C second-stage trainsets, the last one (CRH2C-2150) is of a special nature. As the Sifang rolling stock also undertook a new generation of 380 km/h class high-speed rolling stock (CRH380A) research and development tasks, in order to obtain in advance the aerodynamic efficiency of the new head type of CRH380A type of rolling stock and the actual test data, the Ministry of Railways in 2009, decided to use CRH2-150C as a prototype of the experimental entity of the CRH380A, instead of using the next generation of the new head type. In January 2010, the CRH2-380's body was first exposed online. Sifang Rolling Stock announced on April 12, 2010, through the launch of the new head type for the new generation of high-speed trains, that the test car was completed and rolled off the production line at the end of April. The train set came off the production line in Qingdao at the end of April 2010, with the body marked only as "test car CRH380A". 26 April 2010, the test train set was transported to the China National Railway Testing Center Beijing Circular Railway, where it was fitted with a variety of test equipment and wired; 4 May 2010, the train departed from Beijing via the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway to Zhengzhou; 5 May 2010, the train departed from Beijing via the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway to Zhengzhou; 5 May 2010, the train departed from Beijing via the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway to Zhengzhou. Beijing-Guangzhou Railway to Zhengzhou; May 11, the test car began in Zhengzhou West Passenger Dedicated Line for commissioning tests at speeds of 160 kilometers per hour below, June 7 to start the official high-speed test, usually daily round-trip Zhengzhou and Lingbao West *** three round-trip, the test has been continued until August. 2010 early September, the test car to the Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line to continue to carry out the test work. To November of the same year, according to the unified arrangement of the Ministry of Railways, CRH2-150C formally assigned to the Shanghai Railway Bureau, as a comprehensive test car. In order to adapt to the actual situation of long-distance operation of Chinese railroad trains, Sifang Rolling Stock Co. received an order in November 2007 to carry out independent innovation on the basis of CRH2B large-format seating car, and designed 16 large-format CRH2E sleeper electric locomotive sets, with a nominal speed of 200 kilometers per hour, and a maximum operating speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Train with 13 soft sleeper car, 2 sections of second-class car and a dining car, soft sleeper car each 10 compartments, *** 40 berths, each berth is equipped with LCD TV with headphones, and increased instant contact with the crew of the passenger call system, dining car with a relaxation bar and three LCD TVs. In addition, in order to facilitate the use of travelers with electronic products, each car is installed with AC220V household power sockets, of which one socket is set up under each three rows of seats in the second-class car, one socket is set up in each compartment of the soft sleeper car, and two sockets are set up in the corridor. Dining car bar area with 2 sockets. The whole train is equipped with four pairs of pantographs.

The first batch of orders in the CRH2E train has six, numbered CRH2E-2121 ~ CRH2E-2126, was expected to the end of July 2008, but the first train was eventually delayed to September of the same year off the line. December 6, 2008, Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. and the Beijing Railway Bureau signed a new batch of **** 14 columns of the CRH2E big On December 6, 2008, Sifang Rolling Stock signed a sales contract with Beijing Railway Bureau for a new batch of 14 **** CRH2E large-format sleeper trainsets, with a total amount of about 3 billion yuan. the first six trains of CRH2E-2121-2126 were officially put into operation from December 21, 2008, taking charge of the Beijing-Shanghai D301/2 and D305/6 trains and the Beijing-Hangzhou D309/310 trains. This is the model of the D301 that was used in the rear-end collision of a moving train in 2011. On November 10, 2015, the CRH2G alpine rolling stock independently developed by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. was awarded the Type Certificate and Manufacturing License by the State Railway Administration. This marks the CRH2G-type alpine rolling stock after nearly three years of development, testing and line assessment, officially obtained the market "pass".

Xinhua Qingdao, Nov. 10 (Xinhua Zhang Xudong) by the CMC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. independent development of CRH2G-type alpine rolling stock, 11 days to obtain the State Railway Administration issued a "type certificate of conformity" and "manufacturing permit "

This marks that after nearly three years of development, testing and line examination, CRH2G-type alpine locomotives have formally obtained the market "pass", and China's high-speed railways have added a new weapon.

Chinese car Qingdao Sifang rolling stock Co., Ltd. senior director designer Cheng Jianfeng introduction, CRH2G-type alpine rolling stock overcome the cold, sand, high temperature, high altitude, anti-ultraviolet aging of the five technical difficulties, can also adapt to the cold, sand, high-altitude and other harsh operating environments, is China's high-speed rolling stock in the field of another major technological innovation.

"Its successful development provides a more adaptable model of rolling stock for China's high-speed rail lines in high-cold, desert and plateau areas. It is expected that by the end of 2015, CRH2G will be officially put into operation in Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway." Cheng Jianfeng said.

According to the introduction, CRH2G-type alpine train set speed of 250 kilometers per hour, the use of eight formations, the front of the design inspiration is taken from the "steed".CRH2G-type alpine train set can be in minus 40 degrees Celsius to minus 40 degrees Celsius in the extreme climatic environment under normal operation.

It is understood that the research and development staff of the bogie cold adaptive design, and original "spray anti-freeze" and "high-pressure blowing snow removal" and other technologies, effectively alleviate the cold weather bogie snow icing problems, to ensure the safety of rolling stock.

Resistance to wind and sand is another major feature of the CRH2G-type alpine train sets. CRH2G specially set up three "protective cover": First, the equipment cabin under the car is designed as a sealed structure to prevent sand; second, the equipment cabin adopts a combination of centralized and decentralized wind supply to prevent the entry of sand and dust; third, the air-conditioning unit is moved from the car under the roof, for the prevention of wind and sand and the roof of the car, the air-conditioning unit is moved from the car under the roof, for the prevention of wind and sand and the roof of the car, for the prevention of wind and sand. roof, designed to prevent sand and air filtration. In the sandy environment, CRH2G can not only maintain the air quality inside the car, but also greatly extend the maintenance cycle.

CRH2G also solved the technical problems of high-altitude adaptability and anti-ultraviolet aging, and can operate safely at high altitudes of up to 3,600 meters.

It is reported that the development of CRH2G-type alpine train sets before and after nearly 3 years, during which a large number of experimental research, comprehensive verification of the technical performance of the train sets. Among them, 67 low-temperature resistance test, 16 wind and sand resistance test, high altitude test 6, and has passed the line assessment in the Hada high-speed rail and Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed rail.
