A projector stand is a useful piece of equipment that facilitates the use of projectors in presentations meetings, teaching and home theater. If you need a projector stand but don't want to spend a lot of money on buying one, then making one yourself may be a good choice. Here's how to make a projector stand:
Material Preparation:
1. a 1/2-inch piece of PVC board
2. PVC pipe about 3 inches in diameter
3. a PVC cutter
4. a screwdriver
5. thin wooden poles (as high as you need them)
6. some Nails and joining metal
7. Beam clips
Steps:
1. Use a PVC cutter to cut the PVC board into two triangles of the same size for the stand base.
2. Use a saw to cut the PVC pipe and then cut it to the desired length. This will be the support column for the projector stand.
3. Cut the wooden poles to the desired height. This will be the main store of the projector stand.
4. Flatten the center portion of one side of the triangular base until there is a good contact surface with the top side of the support post.
5. Drill holes in the top of the support posts and attach the wooden poles to the support posts.
6. Use a screwdriver to secure the support post to the triangular base.
7. Attach the beam clamps to secure the projector mount to the support post.
8. Place some heavy objects on the bottom of the projector stand to ensure the stability of the stand.
Making a projector stand requires some DIY skills, but it is not difficult to accomplish. As long as you follow the above steps carefully, you can make an affordable projector stand on your own.
