In 1901, King Rama VI granted funds to BNH, then a non-profit organization, to expand nursing care in Thailand in honor of his father, King Rama V. In 1991, BNH Medical Center Thailand was established to build a new international standard of private healthcare hospitals to meet the demands of a growing domestic and international market.
The expanded BNH Hospital opened in 1996. Nestled between Silom Road and Sassoon Road, the hospital is surrounded by two acres of lush foliage on each side and is close to Bangkok's commercial, financial, entertainment and consular districts, and is easily accessible from all parts of the city by car or BTS Skytrain to Sala Daeng Station or MRT subway to Silom Station.
The team of specialists and practitioners at BNH Hospital provides the highest quality of medical care from consultation, diagnosis, determination of treatment plan, initiation of treatment, tracking of results, and post-operative care. The concept of "family doctor" is highly emphasized at BNH Hospital.
