Healthy Eating Habits in Kindergarten

Children's healthy eating knowledge

First of all, parents should set an example. Family plays an important role in cultivating children's healthy eating habits. Children are not partial to food or picky eaters, and their diet structure is reasonable and balanced, which largely depends on their parents' eating habits and structure.

Second, it needs the education and guidance of preschool teachers. Kindergarten teachers should accept children's preference for food and help children get rid of picky eaters step by step. Let children know what nutrients are contained in some things, what benefits they have to the body, and what diseases they will get if they are lacking, so don't be picky about food, because we need these nutrients. In addition, we should create a good dining environment and regard dining as a pleasant experience.

Third, cultivate children to establish a correct concept of food culture. Since children can communicate simply, they should consciously introduce food sources, preparation, nutritional value, how to eat and how much to eat in ordinary games and exchanges.

Fourth, the diet should be balanced and regular. Children's nutritional balance does not need to be balanced every meal, but within a few days. Eat regularly and quantitatively, don't overeat and eat snacks casually. Too many sweets will not only reduce children's appetite for dinner, but also lead to tooth decay.

Fifth, train children to eat by themselves. Because the child's small muscles are underdeveloped and his fine movements are not well developed, he can't eat well, but as long as he trains step by step, he can eat smoothly.

Sixth, food hygiene. Children should eat fresh food, melons and fruits must be washed and boiled before eating, things that fall on the ground should be washed and eaten, and dishes and chopsticks should be boiled and disinfected. Also note that adults should not feed chewed food to children, because children have weak resistance to avoid infectious diseases.
