Hainan Health Vocational College was born in the new era of "Healthy China". It is a public higher vocational college approved by Hainan Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is the only public higher vocational school in Hainan Province. The College is located in the center of China (Hainan) Free Trade Port and in Haikou, the capital city with beautiful scenery.
Now we offer nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, medical examination technology, rehabilitation treatment technology and other majors. It has a perfect practical teaching system and more than 60 off-campus training bases, covering more than 85% of the tertiary hospitals, 1.000% of the secondary hospitals and large pharmaceutical enterprises and companies in the province. There are many professional training centers for nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology and rehabilitation treatment technology. There are more than 100 experimental training rooms and two popular science teaching bases, namely, the Life Science Museum and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbarium. It is the first batch in China and the only training base for Chinese medicine practitioners and examiners in Hainan.
Teachers and students of the college actively participated in various skill competitions inside and outside the province, and students majoring in nursing, traditional Chinese medicine and medical laboratory technology participated in national and provincial skill competitions and achieved excellent results. Among them, he won 2 gold medals in the National Nursing Competition; The "Huaxia Cup" Medical Laboratory Technical Skills Competition won the team championship for three consecutive years.
