Following the purposes and principles of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, a system of laws and regulations has been formed to protect the rights and interests of persons with disabilities, including the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Law on the Protection of Persons with Disabilities, the Regulations on Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation, the Regulations on Education for Persons with Disabilities, the Regulations on Employment for Persons with Disabilities, and the Regulations on the Construction of Barrier-free Environment.
