No organization or individual may publish, broadcast, post or distribute advertisements containing contents that endanger the physical and mental health of minors; Do not broadcast, post or distribute commercial advertisements in schools and kindergartens; Do not use school uniforms, textbooks, etc. Publish or publish commercial advertisements in disguise.
Books, newspapers, movies, radio and television programs, stage art works, audio-visual products, electronic publications or network information published, released and disseminated by any organization or individual shall be prompted in a prominent way.
It is forbidden to make, copy, publish, disseminate or possess pornographic articles and online information for minors.
In the fourth chapter "Social Protection" of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors, the legal responsibilities that the society should perform are clearly defined, mainly including:
(1) Establish and improve places and facilities suitable for minors' cultural life. Museums, cultural centers, parks, stadiums and other places that are beneficial to the physical and mental health of minors should be open to primary and secondary school students.
(2) Works that are beneficial to the healthy growth of minors should be created or provided, and it is strictly forbidden to sell, rent or otherwise disseminate books, newspapers, magazines and audio-visual products that are obscene, violent, murderous and horrible and that are harmful to minors.
(3) No organization or individual may employ minors under the age of 16, except as otherwise provided by the state, but they may not be arranged to engage in overweight, toxic and harmful labor or dangerous operations.
(4) The civil affairs department or other relevant departments shall be responsible for placing minors who are vagrants and beggars or run away from home in the care of their parents or other guardians, or in the care of children welfare institutions established by the civil affairs department.
(5) Health departments and schools should provide necessary health care conditions for minors and do a good job in disease prevention.
(6) Minors who have completed compulsory education for a specified number of years and will not pursue further studies shall be provided with vocational and technical training according to actual conditions to create employment conditions for them.
