However, the health status of enterprise managers in China is not optimistic.

In April, 2004, China Entrepreneur magazine investigated the work, health and happiness of entrepreneurs. The results showed that 30.77% people suffered from gastrointestinal diseases, 23.08% people suffered from hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia and hypertension, and 2 1. 15 people suffered from excessive smoking and drinking. At the same time, 90.6% of entrepreneurs are overworked, 28.3% have poor memory and 26.4% suffer from insomnia.

The emotional health of enterprise managers is also worthy of attention. The survey results show that 87.4% of enterprise managers work more than 1 1 hour on average every day, and generally feel "great pressure". Physical and mental symptoms related to high work pressure appear in many enterprise managers, and the proportion of related symptoms is: irritability, fatigue, depression, full of doubts, depression and pessimism.

(C) "Overtime" caused by "overwork" problem

In recent years, news reports about abnormal deaths caused by "karoshi" and other work have appeared constantly. For example, Dong Zhang of Neusoft Group died of a sudden heart attack at the age of 36. Behind a series of "karoshi" cases is worrying "overtime". According to the Global Times, with the continuous development of economy, the working hours of employees in China are getting longer and longer, and the "karoshi" has also shown a sharp increase trend.

According to the survey data of China Human Resources Network, over 80% of enterprises have the phenomenon that most employees or some employees often work overtime. Among them, 43.08% enterprises often have to work overtime because of heavy work pressure and many tasks; 40.5 1% of enterprises have the phenomenon that some employees often work overtime; Only 1.03% of enterprises do not have employees working overtime.
