Specific responsibilities are:

Epidemiological monitoring on the occurrence, development and distribution of infectious diseases, endemic diseases, parasitic diseases, chronic non-communicable diseases, occupational diseases, public hazards, food-borne diseases, common diseases of students, health care for the elderly, mental health, oral health, injuries and poisoning, and putting forward prevention and control countermeasures.
4, to participate in and guide the counties to deal with major epidemics and public health emergencies. Establish a municipal emergency system for major public health problems such as major diseases, poisoning, health pollution, disaster relief and disease prevention. Cooperate with and participate in the investigation and handling of national and provincial major public health emergencies.
5, to carry out vaccine application effect evaluation and immunization planning strategy research, and technical guidance and evaluation of the implementation of the city's immunization strategy.
6. Research, develop and popularize advanced testing methods, establish a quality control system, promote the standardization of public health inspection in the whole city, provide relevant technical arbitration services, and carry out health quality testing, inspection, safety evaluation and risk analysis of health-related products recognized by the health administrative department.
7, establish and improve the municipal disease prevention and control and public health information network, responsible for disease prevention and control and related information collection, analysis and prediction, to provide scientific basis for disease prevention and control decision-making.
8, organize the implementation of the city's major diseases and public health special investigation, to provide a scientific basis for Yibin national economic and social development planning and public health strategy formulation.
9. Study and evaluate the prevention and control strategies and measures of major diseases and public health problems that affect the city's social and economic development and national health, and popularize mature technologies and programs.
10, organize the implementation of municipal health education and health promotion projects, guide, participate in and establish community health service demonstration projects, explore the working mechanism of community health services, and popularize mature technologies and experiences.
