(1) filtering. There is a filter in the water purifier, which can filter solid particles and even bacteria in water through coarse filtration, fine filtration and ultra-fine filtration;
(2) adsorption. The water purifier is equipped with an activated carbon adsorption device, which can filter and adsorb various impurities, including bacteria, after the water passes through the activated carbon;
(3) ion exchange. An ion exchanger is arranged in the water purifier. After water passes through the ion exchanger, some anions in the water are exchanged for hydroxide ions and some cations are exchanged for hydrogen ions. The combination of hydroxyl ions and hydrogen ions forms water molecules, and the number of anions and cations in water decreases.
Small household water purifiers generally include filtration and adsorption functions, and large water purifiers may also include ion exchange.
