The opening of Anmeide Industrial and Cultural Center was taught by wound therapists themselves.

Dr. Chen, a wound expert, demonstrated the correct method of wound treatment.

The new concept of "moist balance" wound care accelerates wound healing. Any small wound on the body, if not handled properly, may cause wound infection! At present, clinical medicine has got rid of the traditional concept of "dry healing" and changed to "wet balance". Dr. Chen, the director of the clinic and a trauma expert, said that in the past, it was always thought that wounds needed to be kept dry quickly. In fact, the loss of skin moisture makes epithelial cells grow slowly. In order to accelerate the repair of skin tissue, we should cover the clean wound with waterproof, breathable and moist dressing, so that epithelial cells can grow rapidly along the wound bed in a moist environment, reduce the generation of scar tissue and achieve the effect of moist healing. Four skills of correctly nursing wounds: hydrogel dressing plus no scar. In order to properly handle the wound, Dr. Chen suggested the following four methods. Irrigation: When a wound occurs, wash the wound with a large amount of clean flowing water or physiological saline to reduce (dilute) the bacteria attached to the wound. 2. Wipe: Check the wound carefully to make sure there is no foreign body attached, press the wound with a clean cotton swab to stop bleeding, and then choose to go to the hospital or treat the wound by yourself according to the degree of injury. 3. Dressing: The liquid (tissue fluid) continuously secreted by the wound contains ingredients to promote wound healing, so use a waterproof and antibacterial dressing to cover the wound. Avoid scabbing caused by dry wound and reduce the healing speed. 4. Look: Continue to look at the wound covering the dressing. If the exudate exceeds the absorption range of the dressing, carefully tear off the dressing, then rinse the wound with normal saline or clear water, dry it and put on a new dressing. If the wound is red, swollen and abnormally painful, go to the hospital for examination and treatment immediately. Moisturizing hydrocolloid dressing can promote tissue regeneration and avoid the influence of sexual life and diet on wound healing. "Ideal dressing is an important key to wound healing! Dr. Chen said that the ideal dressing should not only maintain the healing environment of dry and wet balance, but also help the wound to self-clean, provide protection and prevent infection. For a long time, whether it is burns or surgical wounds, gauze is used to protect the wounds. Tearing gauze every time you check or change medicine often makes patients miserable. The special feature of hydrocolloid dressing is that because it is transparent, doctors can check it without opening it. In addition, hydrocolloids have the characteristics of high absorption and non-adhesion, which greatly reduces the pain of patients. Compared with traditional gauze, which is easy to stick and dry wounds, the dressing using UV photopolymerization hydrogel technology is not only non-stick, but also allows cells to move and repair because of its moisture absorption and water locking characteristics. It will not cause secondary trauma and pain after being taken out. Moreover, due to its unique pressing function, it can prevent scarring and scabbing, and has good air permeability and ductility. This is the most recommended ideal dressing for general and surgical wound care. Dr. Chen reminded that the key point of wound care is not only to correctly handle and use breathable and moisturizing hydrocolloid dressings, but also to avoid pigmentation caused by direct sunlight in daily life, and to avoid spicy fried or caffeinated and alcoholic foods in the diet; On the contrary, you can eat more fruits, eggs, lean meat and other foods rich in vitamins C, E and amino acids to promote wound healing. The first wound care cultural center was established last year with the support of the New Taipei Economic Development Bureau. Anmeide Biomedical has set up the first wound dressing sightseeing factory in Taiwan Province-Anmeide Trauma Care Industrial Cultural Center in Gu Wu Industrial Zone, hoping to provide visitors with complete trauma medical information through the historical display of the concept and technology of trauma medicine in the museum, as well as the introduction of the research and development process and product characteristics of UV hydrocolloid technology, and further exchange and discuss with senior medical personnel, so as to make joint efforts for the growth of trauma medical technology in Taiwan Province Province.
