China Medical and Health Association

Founded in August, 1993, China Medical News Information Association (CNDIA) is a national first-class social organization registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the only news information dissemination organization in the field of food and drug supervision and medicine in China. The competent unit is the State Council State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and the business guidance units mainly include China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), Health Planning Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and China Journalists Association.

The unit members of the association mainly come from pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic enterprises, as well as related public relations consulting enterprises and publicity and publishing units. Individual members are mainly composed of editors and journalists of mainstream media, their managers and industry experts.

Since its establishment, under the correct guidance of the relevant ministries and commissions of the central government, the association has closely United with mainstream media, members and industry experts, organized and carried out a large number of colorful activities, which have produced good social impact and contributed to the development of China's pharmaceutical industry.

In the 1990s, in view of the unsatisfactory medical system and chaotic market, the Association organized the mainstream media to make unannounced visits to expose the problems and published many good medical news works with great social repercussions. The Association held the "First National 10 Pharmaceutical Joint Enterprise Selection" in time, and held a grand award ceremony in Beijing-Great Hall of the People.
