What is intermittent?

Intermittent mental disorder refers to a mental illness in which the patient's self-control ability of thinking, emotion and behavior is normal during the intermission, but his mental performance is abnormal in all aspects during the attack.

Intermittent mental disorder is different from other mental diseases such as bipolar disorder and hysteria. The main manifestations are depression or hyperactivity during the attack, withdrawn personality, passive retreat or increased activities, poor social adaptability, and decline in social functions, such as insanity, which makes it difficult for people to control their behavior, and sometimes anxiety, depression and even delusion, as well as weird and indifferent behavior. Intermittent mental disorder is a short-term attack, sometimes it is not easy to detect, sometimes the patient's behavior is extremely dangerous, and many patients will self-harm without knowing it.

Therefore, once you are diagnosed with intermittent mental illness, you should seek medical treatment as soon as possible.

Intermittent fasting refers to the method of concentrating all the diets in a day into a specific time period by limiting the eating time, so as to achieve the purpose of losing weight, reducing fat and increasing insulin sensitivity.

Intermittent fasting, also known as time-limited eating, generally has many varieties, but it is commonly used in two categories: fasting every other day and limiting the eating window in one day.

1. Fasting every other day

Fasting every other day means eating on the first day, fasting on the second day, and so on. The time of fasting every other day can be once every 24 hours or once every 12 hours, which can be adjusted according to the purpose of fasting. Fasting every other day also has its variation, that is, eating for two days and fasting for one day.

2. Limit the time of eating in a day.

It is more difficult to understand than fasting every other day to limit the eating window in one day. In fact, it is also very simple, that is, the eating time in a day is fixed within a certain range, and fasting is needed at other time periods. The most common method is 16/8, that is, eat all the food within 8 hours, and don't eat at all for the rest 16 hours. Of course, the time period of the eating window depends on the purpose of eating.

Intermittent fasting is a new method of health preservation, and there are still many unknown fields to be explored. Don't blindly try intermittent fasting. If you want to implement it, you need to consult a dietitian or doctor first. Intermittent cerebral infarction refers to the recurrence of cerebral infarction after the first cerebral infarction due to various reasons, and some patients even have multiple attacks. The vast majority of these patients are caused by irregular use of anti-arteriosclerosis drugs or anticoagulants after discharge from the hospital due to cerebral infarction and unhealthy living and eating habits. Therefore, health education and regular follow-up for patients with cerebral infarction are extremely important. Patients must closely monitor blood pressure, blood sugar, blood lipid and various risk factors, and check and take aspirin, warfarin and other drugs under the guidance of doctors to prevent cerebral infarction. The so-called intermittent claudication refers to the patient's unilateral or bilateral backache and leg pain from the beginning of walking, or after walking for a certain distance (usually hundreds of meters), so that the lower limbs are numb and unable to continue walking. However, after squatting or sitting down for a period of time, the symptoms can be quickly relieved or disappeared, and the patient can continue to walk, but after walking for a period of time, the above symptoms reappear. Because claudication occurs intermittently in this process, it is called intermittent claudication.

Intermittent exercise People think that the process of physical strength enhancement is realized in exercise, but in fact, the process of internal physical strength enhancement is mainly realized in intermission, and excessive recovery is realized in rest. If you get excessive recovery from rest, then exercise becomes meaningless or even ineffective for strengthening your physique. Intermittence plays no less important role in strengthening physical fitness than exercise itself. Since ancient times, people have had the experience of calming down. On the basis of modern science, human beings are more clearly aware of the various changes in the body and the importance of maintaining assimilation advantages during intermittent time, so intermittent time is regarded as a basic fitness method.

Intermittent exercise means having a reasonable rest between repeated exercises. The interval time of intermittent exercise method should be based on the exercise load threshold. Generally speaking, when the exercise load exceeds the upper limit (the heart rate exceeds 150 beats per minute), the interval time is longer to avoid the continuous increase of exercise load, resulting in excessive physical consumption.
