How to use rank function to rank?

Rank function can be used to rank in Excel. Rank function is mainly used for sorting, which can return the numerical ranking of a list of numbers, and its ranking is relative to other values in the list; Grammatical format is "RANK(number, ref, [order])". Make a simple demonstration, then this is =RANK(E 15, E 15:E22). Finally, because the operation is to be processed in batches, you can add an absolute reference to the regional reference, and then there will be =RANK(E 15, $E$ 15:$E$22), and finally pull it down.

Examples of rank functions

Positive Sort In this example, we found the sort of the value 20 in the A 1:A5 area of cell B2, and we didn't enter the order parameter. If no order parameter is entered, the default order value is 0, that is, the order is from high to low. In this example, the positive sort of 20 in A 1:A5 region is 1, so the displayed result is 1.

Reverse order In this example, we entered the order value as 1 in the previous example, and found that the result changed greatly, because the order value was 1, which means to find the reverse order, and the reverse order of A 1:A5 area 20 was 4.
