Enterprise mission of benefit priority principle

The so-called corporate mission refers to the role and responsibility that enterprises should play in social progress and socio-economic development. It refers to the fundamental nature and reasons for the existence of enterprises, explains the business fields and business ideas of enterprises, and provides the basis for the establishment of enterprise goals and the formulation of strategies.

Before making a strategy, an enterprise must first determine its own mission.

The enterprise mission should include the following meanings:

(1) The mission of an enterprise is actually the reason or reason for its existence, that is, the purpose orientation of its existence. Whether the reason is "to provide a certain product or service", "to meet a certain need" or "to assume an indispensable responsibility", if an enterprise can't find a reasonable reason or the reason for its existence is unclear, or even can't effectively convince itself, then the business problem of this enterprise will be big, and it may be said that this enterprise "has no need to exist". Just as people often ask themselves why I am alive, business operators should be more aware of this.

(2) Enterprise mission is the philosophical orientation of enterprise production and operation, that is, business philosophy. The mission defined by the enterprise establishes the basic guiding ideology, principles, direction and management philosophy for the enterprise. It is not a specific strategic goal of an enterprise, or it exists abstractly, not necessarily expressed in words, but it affects the decision-making and thinking of operators. This includes the philosophical orientation of enterprise management, outstanding values and image orientation of enterprises: what is the guiding ideology of our management? How do we know our career? How do we view and evaluate the market, customers, employees, partners and competitors? Wait a minute. (3) The enterprise mission is the image orientation of enterprise production and operation. It reflects the image that the enterprise tries to establish for itself, such as "we are a company willing to take responsibility", "we are a healthy growing enterprise" and "we are an enterprise with outstanding achievements in technology". Under the guidance of clear image positioning, the business activities of enterprises will always show this to the public, and will not "chop and change".

Enterprise mission is the purpose and reason of enterprise existence. Defining the mission of an enterprise is to determine the responsibilities or obligations that an enterprise must undertake to achieve its long-term goals.
