What is a lifestyle?
From the sociological point of view, lifestyle is the way people spend time and money, which is adapted to certain social living conditions. Time and money (which can be exchanged for various necessities of life) are two major elements of people's lives. How to arrange time and how to spend money constitute various lifestyles.
Lifestyle is the unity of objective and subjective conditions. For example, it depends on some objective conditions, such as the level of development of social productive forces, social environment, etc., and is independent of human will. As for how to arrange family life, that is the subjective condition of lifestyle. Lifestyle is the unity of quantity and quality. For example, how much a family spends every month is a matter of quantity; How to spend the money, whether to spend it entirely on eating, drinking and having fun, or to invest part of it in intelligence, is the quality problem.
So, how to calculate a civilized, healthy and scientific lifestyle?
The so-called civilized lifestyle refers to the mental outlook of the family, especially to maintaining good interpersonal relationships. People are socialized animals, and they can't live in isolation. They must have contact with others in their lives. Therefore, we must be moral, disciplined and educated, so as to maintain good interpersonal relationships and make family members, neighbors and relatives harmonious. Civilized lifestyle is manifested in many "little things in life". For example, some people ignore the rest of others, turn on the radio very loudly, and instead of persuading children, they practice "slap education"; Forcing spouses to have sex, even sexual violence, etc. , should be corrected.
The so-called healthy lifestyle requires that family life is not vulgar and low-level, but progressive. Family life should be full of vigor and vitality, encourage people to make progress and reflect the requirements of social development, instead of engaging in decadent, backward and decadent practices. The family should be full of cultural atmosphere, and words should not be "unspeakable"; Some cultural and recreational activities, such as dancing, watching TV and reading books. It should be positive and should not be made yellow, vulgar or obscene. Now some families are still engaged in superstitious activities, which is also a manifestation of unhealthy lifestyle.
The so-called scientific lifestyle means that lifestyle must conform to the objective laws of natural and social development and be beneficial to people's health. For example, eating and drinking, overeating and sleeping irregularly are all unscientific lifestyles. Some children are spoiled by their parents, who only eat meat instead of vegetables, or have other bad habits of partial eclipse, which is also unscientific. In the 40 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the population has increased by 1 times, while the consumption of cigarettes has increased by 10 times. In China, the smoking rate of men is as high as 6 1%, that of college students is 19.9%, and that of middle school students is 3.4%, which is very harmful. For another example, China's per capita salt intake is 30% to 40% higher than that of Europeans and Americans, which is 4 to 5 times higher than the normal physiological demand, which is not good for the cardiovascular system. In addition, many families eat bowls and share a washbasin or even a towel or two. These do not meet the requirements of science and health and should be corrected.
Civilization, health and science are interrelated and inseparable whole. Only by working hard in this direction can every family live a happy and upward life.
