The National Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention is subordinate to the National Health and Wellness Commission and has the status of deputy ministerial level. There are 10 internal institutions responsible for disease prevention and control. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at all levels are responsible for specific disease prevention and control tasks, including the prevention and control of infectious diseases and emergency response. In addition, there are functional departments such as planning finance and regulations, monitoring and early warning, emergency response, prevention and control of infectious diseases, health and immunization planning. Functions of the health department:
