The Singapore Nursing Scholarship Program is one of the scholarship programs established by the Singapore government for Asia. The competent department is the Ministry of Health of Singapore, and the recruitment work is undertaken by Singapore Health Holdings Limited under the Ministry of Health of Singapore. The main goal of this project is to select outstanding Asian students to study nursing in Nanyang Polytechnic or Yi 'an Polytechnic, so as to improve the overall level of the nursing industry.
The qualifications of the project applicant mainly include the age of no more than 25 (at the time of application), good English foundation, excellent college entrance examination results, good conduct, strong adaptability and good health. Applicants need to take a written test and interview organized by Singapore.
The course of this program is a diploma in nursing. The place of study is Nanyang Polytechnic or Yi 'an Polytechnic, and the teaching language is English. The stipulated time is 3 years, and the agreement period is 6 years. Since 1993, the Ministry of Health of Singapore has provided China with nursing medical scholarships every year to accept China freshmen to study in Singapore. Over the past 30 years, more than 3,600 nursing students in China have studied abroad through this program, accounting for 10% of registered nurses in Singapore.
