Sit and reach out
Sitting and stretching is a physical health test item for primary schools, junior high schools and primary schools. Its purpose is to measure the possible range of motion of joints such as trunk, waist and hip at rest, mainly reflecting the development level of extensibility and elasticity of joints, ligaments and muscles in these parts and the flexibility of the body.
Test requirements
Subjects: Male or female, aged 20-59.
Action specification: the subject sits on the mat, with his back and hips close to the vertical plane, his legs together, his knees straight and his toes up. A three-sided box with a width of 50 cm and a height of 30 cm is placed above his legs, his hands are as straight as possible, and the tiger's mouth grips the edge of the box. During the test, the subjects lean forward as far as possible and slowly push the box (the tiger's mouth should always be close to the edge of the box).
Test site: a flat land with vertical back.
Test method: measure the sliding distance of wooden cases.
Test unit: centimeter (accurate to110cm).
Test equipment: test wooden box, tape measure.
