Anxiety disorder is the most common mental health condition. The Anxiety and Depression Association estimates that more than 18% of the population suffers from anxiety disorder. However, only 36% of patients were helped. Although the stigma associated with mental health problems is certainly part of the reason why many people do not seek treatment, another main reason is that people do not realize the importance of their anxiety.
The difference between normal anxiety and anxiety lies in the obstacles experienced by individuals. If anxiety interferes with your social, professional or educational functions, you may suffer from anxiety disorder.
Here are some examples:
Your anxiety makes you unable to concentrate. Your anxiety prevents you from participating in social activities. It is difficult for you to maintain a healthy relationship because of your anxiety. Your worries make it difficult for you to find happiness in your daily activities. It is difficult for you to fall asleep at night because you are worried and feel that your brain can't be shut down.
If you suspect that you may have anxiety disorder, please talk to your doctor. Discuss the symptoms you see or their impact on your life. Anxiety can usually be treated by mindfulness therapy. Unfortunately, however, many people waited for several years to solve this problem. Of course, it is not only anxiety that needs to be cured, but also ordinary anxiety needs to be seen and accepted. There is no end to mental health, and health can be healthier and better.
