A BIM value lower than 18.5 indicates emaciation, a body mass index value of 24-27 indicates overweight, a body mass index value of 28-31indicates obesity, and a body mass index value higher than 32 indicates obesity.
Body mass index can only be calculated by measuring weight and height.
