Precautions for turning to Sambo!
After converting to Sambo, there are some things we should do and some things we shouldn't do. This is called' conversion place'. Conversion schools are divided into three parts: Sanbao School and Sanbao School. * * * The classmate's office is reserved after the transfer to Sambo; A school that is not * * refers to something that should be done or withdrawn because it is one of the three treasures. In school, it can be divided into two kinds: things that should be avoided and things that should be held. What should be avoided is called' building a school'; This business is called "Cheng School Office". There are three places where we can stop learning: (1) Because we have converted to Buddhism, we should not stop relying on all kinds of gods, earth gods and dragons in the world. These life forms are just ordinary people like us, and they are not beyond life and death, so they have no ability to benefit our future life and cannot be our objects. These sentient beings do have a little ability, but they don't have the virtue and compassion like Buddha. When we support such beings, they may give us some secular benefits; But once they forget to provide for them, they may be as cheap as human beings, and they will immediately turn against us and hurt us. As Buddhists, we should not be at odds with our parents and family. If your family has a tradition of offering sacrifices to heaven and earth, we can also participate in supporting it. When offering food, we should offer fruit tea with the mentality of our peers, and ask them to give the world a blessing or at least not to hurt it, but they can't stop at their hearts, otherwise they will be born as subordinates in the future, which also violates the seclusion of converting to Buddhism. (2) Since we have converted to Buddhism, we should adhere to the teachings of the Buddha and should not do anything that goes against Buddhism. In Buddhism, the core foundation is not to harm other life, including insects. Therefore, we should at least not kill. Of course, in life, we will inevitably step on bugs or something. While taking care of our lives, if we accidentally step on bugs and so on. , does not violate the magic weapon of conversion. But if we deliberately kill life, we will immediately violate this school. For example, when we go to a restaurant to eat, we personally point to a fish and let the restaurant kill it and cook it for us. When we eat it, we feel very satisfied. This is a complete killing. If you don't kill yourself, find someone to kill you, and the result is heavier than killing yourself. Some people like to eat in seafood restaurants, so be especially careful not to directly participate in killing. People who are not vegetarians can only eat dead meat that is not slaughtered for themselves. In some cultures, animals are not only killed, but also brutally killed, such as slowly bleeding, drying alive or steaming alive. Because this killing makes all beings more miserable, the karma and results of this killing are also greater. If we not only stop killing ourselves, but also teach others to stop killing, it will be of great benefit to ourselves, that person and other sentient beings, and it will make us live longer. (3) Since we converted to the monk's treasure, we should avoid associating with evil friends. What is a bad friend? It is those who teach and seduce us to hurt all beings without cause or result. When we first converted, we were easily persuaded because we were not firm enough in our adherence to Sambo, so we must carefully protect our adherence. Once we have a real sense of dependence, we will not be afraid of the bad influence of others, and even guide them to do good deeds with compassion in the future. What is the definition of "having a real mind"? In ancient India, there was a big Nalanda Buddhist University (Brahman Nalanda, located in central India, now called Bihar Province), where there were many monks. On one occasion, the Islamic army captured this place and surrounded the university. The soldiers stood outside the door and ordered the monks to line up one by one. At the gate, the monk was given the right to choose. If he died, he vowed to give up his dependence on the Sambo, and those who insisted on being Sambo disciples were immediately executed. In this case, if you would rather let go of your life than rest on it, it is a' real spiritual rest'. In daily life, not only can we not really give up, but even joking is not appropriate. These are three schools. There are also three successful schools: (1) Once Buddhism is stopped, any form of Buddha should be regarded as a real Buddha, whether it is gold, silver, mud or printed on paper. We should not sell the Buddha statue as a commodity, nor treat it as a treasure in the world, but put the gold one in the center of the altar and hide the mud one side. Since these are regarded as true buddhas, there is no difference between gold and mud. In addition, be sure not to point at the Buddha statue or painting or put it on the ground. We should be careful with our words when commenting on Buddha statues or paintings. We can only say,' I don't think the sculptor of this Buddha statue is very clever!' Wait, instead of saying,' This Buddha is really ugly!' A kind of writing. (2) Since Buddhism has stopped, we should regard all Confucian classics as real magic weapons, which can't be placed on the ground, crossed, or sold for a living. The magic weapon is the main object of the three treasures, so it is higher than the Buddha treasure and the monk treasure. Strictly speaking, it is right to put the scriptures on top of the Buddha statue, but it is against the academic department to pad the Buddha statue with the scriptures. (3) Since the monk's treasure has stopped, we should respect it. When four ordinary monks are together, they must be regarded as the treasure of the abbot. Therefore, we not only disrespect monks, but also break the cassock in a corner on the ground. These are three schools. In addition to the above six articles, we should also follow the same knowledge and pursue ten good deeds. Every meal should first support the three treasures in your heart before eating. This is to accumulate merits and show respect for yourself, not for Buddha and other people who need food or like us to please. After the conversion ceremony, we should recite the conversion text three times a day and three times a night. There are many versions of the conversion text, and the simplest version is three sentences:' convert to Buddhism, convert to Buddhism, convert to Buddhism, convert to monks'. In the future, we should also learn more Buddhism according to our own abilities, get close to good knowledge, and be disciplined according to our abilities. If we find ourselves violating the above knowledge, we should repent in our hearts and stop in front of the three treasures again. The key is sincere respect. Master Yin Guang told us:' There are many ways to enter, but people are interested and there is no certain way. What is certain is honesty and respect. These two things, although all Buddhas were born in the future, cannot be changed. However, if we are ordinary people, we want to get rid of karma quickly and prove that there is no life, but we are not committed to it. For example, a tree without roots wants to flourish, and a bird without wings wants to fly, all of which can be obtained. "("(Zheng) to the master book one ")' a Buddhist method, from simple to easy, from wide to large. Be sincere. The Indian master was silent at night, and his words really reached the master's cloud: Pure land practice is full of wonders, but it must be sincere and sincere, all of which are led by the Buddha and lead to life. See "Ode to an Epic". Only in this way can we realize that, that is to say, our biological relatives will get real benefits. If you are lazy and slack, you have no fear. Although it is a distant cause, it has unimaginable ridicule. I often say that if you want to get the real benefits of Buddhism, you must ask for respect. A little respect will eliminate a little sin and increase a little happiness. If you are very respectful, you will eliminate your sins and increase your happiness. If disrespect leads to ridicule, crime will increase and happiness will decrease. Only by sincerely and respectfully returning to the three treasures can people gradually embark on the road of extricating themselves from suffering and obtaining happiness. In fact, the purpose of refuge should start with refuge in the three treasures outside the body, and rely on the inspiration and guidance of the three treasures to move towards the road of becoming a Buddha. All beings have Buddha nature. Because of the confusion of karma, we can't see the Buddha nature. We turn to the Sambo for help, just to seek the manifestation of our own Buddha nature. We were originally with Sambo, just because we lost our nature, wandered on the road of life and death, and didn't know the way home, so we were named sentient beings! If we can return to the embrace of Sambo from now on, it will only be the prodigal son's return to his original hometown. Buddha is an awakened one, a man of great compassion, and a man of great fortune and great wisdom. To convert to Buddhism means to take Buddha as a mentor and teacher, to be a compassionate and intelligent person, a clean and healthy person, a happy and carefree person, a person who benefits the society, the country and all sentient beings, and a selfless and altruistic person. Because Buddhism is the education of Buddhism and the education of being a man. A successful life is a successful life. Therefore, only the way home-awakening, becoming a Buddha and benefiting all beings, can be regarded as true refuge.
