Minister of Education Yanwu emphasized that the development of new medicine is the latest requirement of the party and the state for the development of medical education in the new era. Strengthening the construction of new medical science includes: first, new ideas, extending medical education from focusing on treatment to prevention and rehabilitation, and highlighting the concept of great health in the whole life cycle and health process. Second, the background is new, and a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation represented by artificial intelligence and big data is coming.
Third, the specialty is new, medical science and literature are integrated, which puts forward new requirements for the original medical specialty and develops new medical specialties such as precision medicine, translational medicine and intelligent medicine. Specifically, the connotation of new medical construction is mainly embodied in five aspects: new concept, new structure, new model, new quality and new system.
(1) New concept: innovative, scientific and comprehensive new medical education.
The construction of new medicine should closely follow the needs of medical development in the new period and carry out personnel training.
