Every year. Food production and marketing personnel shall have an annual health examination and obtain a health certificate before taking up their posts. Article 45 of the Food Safety Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that food production and marketing personnel who are engaged in contact with directly imported food shall have an annual health examination and obtain a health certificate before taking up their posts.
